Current Rating: 77
Suggested Rating: 83
It is a crime that a player averaging 17pts 7.2 reb, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals is under an 80.
He is 6'2" and is 20th in the league in rebounds.
Boost his rebounding, jumping and I would say his FG% would probably go up a bit. He's 48% and 41% for FG and 3pt.

Love love love this guy. The ideal shooting guard, all-nba D, great shooter, great cutter and even if some of his rebounding is a mirage, which I think it is, he has stepped up this season in a major way. Huge reason for the Celtics success with Stevens

But the kid is doing SOMETHING that every other guard isn't doing. It kind of reminds me of say Rondo or Kidd in terms of rebounding well outside of his position. Even if it doesn't stay that high, he should be ranked as one of the best SGs in terms of rebounding.

Completely agree with you, I could see him at 5 per game or something by season's end which is excellent for such a small guard

His rebounding has to be a fluke. From 3.8 to 3.1 to 2.9 then all of a sudden up to 7.2? That just makes no sense. Even if he regresses down to 5 rpg that's still very solid for a guard though. He's one of those guys that's just gotten slightly better every year, and his shooting has improved to the point where he's been extremely efficient this season.

His rebounding has changed because of the different front court composition this year that keeps their best rebounder near the perimeter too much.
However the guy is shooting 42% from 3 and is All 1st team NBA defense...

83 Bradley is very solid, and considering where we are rating perimeter guys, which is basically all over the place, 83 seems good.
I feel like we need some sort of baseline for perimeter players. Not a x stats = y rating, necessarily, but that is the way it works, kind of, in the RC.

He's probably trying to factor in our actual ratings we get to use and thinking about how they play out in ratings. We've long known that if two players are "equal" in the eyes of many, but one is a 7'0" Center who doesn't shoot 3's and the other is a wing player who does all sorts of shit, we probably need 5 extra rating points for the wing player. But, the league as a whole has not accepted this fact.

Plus, the fact that you can look at a player, say he's an 83, and I can look at a player, say he's an 85, someone else can say 81. And we can all cite the same stats. In the RC, a 41% 3PT gets you ~90 in 3PT. But what if a player is rated, and we can't adequately demonstrate his skills in the ratings, because he is rated too low, which happens all the time. We can't create points out of thin air, and a lot of the rating categories are tied in to statistical percentages. But, things like athleticism aren't. And, while athleticism is somewhat subjective, it is just as important.
