Can we now give DeMar DeRozan some love? Dude has been on fire all year. 28.4 PPG (career high) 4.1 APG (career high) 5.2 REB (career high) 85.1% FT (career high) 48,8 FG (2nd highest) Player of the Week - Nov 14th Player of the Week - Dec 19th Current Rating: 85 Suggestion: 89 James Harden is by far the best SG in the league (ranked 90) I would argue DeMar is 2nd and should be ranked right under him at 89.

I think the gulf is a bit more than 1 point, but he is the 2nd best. But Harden is on another level, and Derozan brings just barely more defensively, possibly even less.

Me putting DeMar at 89 is fair tbh since I agree James in way better than DeMar right now.

Kind of sucks he has no semblance of a 3pt shot, if he shot even league average from 3 he'd probably win the scoring chip at the end of the season. 88-89 for me if its possible to do it without 3pt shooting.

At an 87, the RC can do what it needs, since this dude has no three point shot.
"Evan M. Turner" The M is for "Mid-range"

I'll say 87.
I love everything about DeMar off the court, and he's having another career year, but I still believe Lowry is the Raptors best player. DeRozan is getting numbers, but all advanced stats show lineups with Lowry outperform lineups with DeRozan. It's what I see with my eyes too when I watch.
I've also never been a fan of his game because it's inefficient by design. It only becomes efficient when he attacks the rim and gets to the line a lot. I don't understand how such a good mid-range shooter can be so bad from behind the three point line, if he was a good outside shooter he'd have no weaknesses and be dominant offensively. He's also still a below average defender. DeMarre Carrol, Terrence Ross and Norman Powell are all better matchups for defending the other team's best wing player.
