Boston Celtics - Enes Kanter$185,952,200/6 Years Year 1 - $23,500,000 Year 2 - $26,085,000 Year 3 - $28,954,350 Year 4 - $32,139,329 Year 5 - $35,674,655 Year 6 - $39,598,867 Enes Kanter has decided to return to the Boston Celtics.
While Enes received interest from teams with solid young cores in the Phoenix Suns and the Houston Rockets, and a team that could make waves next year in the Brooklyn Nets, Enes could not bring himself to leave the team that has stuck by him since the first season of D5.
Other teams brought his role with the Celtics into question, but as it stands, Enes Kanter is the starting center of the Boston Celtics. And if say, something were to happen like Joel Embiid breaking out - Enes has shown no issue with taking a sixth man role IRL with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Wow. When you're tired of dealing with this contract, hit me up for a trade Ian.

Somehow I don't think the money entered into me and Danny's minds throughout the whole process. We both know Kanter gets paid, but perhaps this was a bit ridiculous! Any chance of considering the contract Mr Longley?

I am very glad that Kanter re-signed. He should finally be a starter for the Thunder this year and can take those elite per-36 stats to an actual 36 minutes per game average, will probably be the 2nd Option behind Russell Westbrook.
I'm not sure how my front court is going to work but I feel like Kanter should be a starter. If I play Ben Simmons at point guard I would have:
C - Embiid F - Kanter F - Parker G - McLemore G - Simmons

Hmm... wasn't Kanter unhappy in Utah because of Gobert + Favors? And didn't he sign with Portland to start, and then OKC matched his offer? I bet Kanter's behind the scenes bitching had a lot to do with Ibaka being shipped out too. Embiid better watch out, Kanter's gonna poison his soup.

Well, maybe the lack of bitching had to do with the Thunder's willingness to pay him 16m a year. I'm sure that would do wonders for my morale.

Kanter was more just unhappy with the Jazz organisation itself, possibly because they weren't a playoff team.

I still think Embiid better bring his lunch from home for the next while, just to be sure.
