Portland Trail Blazers - Kyrie IrvingYear 1: $23,500,000 Year 2: $26,085,000 Year 3: $28,954,350 Year 4: $32,139,329 Year 5: $35,674,655Total: $146,353,133 Kyrie Irving will re-sign with the Portland Trailblazers. He signs a 5 year max contract worth $146,353,133. The final year is a player option. Kyrie has had the most competition of all the free agent point guards and he got many great offers. He thanks all the teams who showed interest in him. In the end, staying in Portland was the best option for Kyrie. The league is about star power, and no other team could offer a better elite pairing as the Blazers could with Paul George. Brandon Roy has also shown commitment to improving the roster, especially the rest of the aging core that surrounds Irving and Goerge. Trading Tim Duncan got back a couple good starters that rounds out the lineup for the Blazers. Kyrie is excited to get back to work with the team, have another successful season, and build toward the future.
