I really don't like the trading of 1st round picks for so far into the future (unless they're being traded to me ). It's just so hard to judge their value. It's impossible to know what the state of Detroit's team will be. That pick could be top 5, or 25-30th.

If you're making a trade to shed salary, with nothing in return, do you really need to include picks?

Why would I take boozer and that other shithead without getting a pick? There have literally been dozens of trades exactly like this in d5 history, what the problem with this one?

This will go down as a terrible trade for Detroit

I just wonder if this is really worth it for Detroit. Does he actually need the cap space, realistically, this badly that he loses control of part of his team's future?

I remember a cap trade using a distant 1st rounder. Didn't turn out too well, just ask Ben Simmons.

Seriously, no offense Detroit but you have a couple years before you can be a top team. In that time bozer could retire and nick youngs contract will be off your books. Essentially giving away picks for nothing.

I'm going to reject this one.

I guess I'll accept. I'll choose to imagine this as a 1st round pick for the value of a player you could sign with $15 million. That seems fair enough, hopefully that pick doesn't end up making this trade terrible.

@riogho has made an investment in the Pistons future, that's for sure. He owns all their picks until 2020!
Trade passed and queued.
