Kemba Walker will re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. They have agreed on a 5 year contract worth $146,353,328. The final year is a player option. Kemba would like to thank Charles Barkley for his offer, the decision ultimately came down to the Rockets and the Lakers. Both teams are in a similar place with some young players and cap space to potentially put together a great team. However, returning to LA, hopefully with Vucevic soon to follow, and the Lakers still having around $40 million in cap space to sign other players was ultimately the right decision for Kemba.
