Brooklyn Nets - Reggie JacksonYear 1: $23,500,000 Year 2: $26,085,000 Year 3: $28,954,350 Year 4: $32,139,329 Year 5: $35,674,655 Reggie Jackson will sign a 5 year contract with the Brooklyn Nets worth $146,353,133. From the minute free agency opened the Nets made it clear Reggie was their number one target, he received some interest from other teams but more as a feeling out process. Due to the strength of the offer by Brooklyn, waiting for more offers after the signing of some other big names felt unnecessary. Reggie is very excited to join Blake Griffin and the rest of the Brooklyn Nets.

The Pelicans are disappointed they didn't get a reply to their last message to reggie. Information indicating he was signing quickly would've changed our plans drastically

The Pelicans are disappointed they didn't get a reply to their last message to reggie. Information indicating he was signing quickly would've changed our plans drastically T-t-t-throwback to 5 months ago..... I accept. Like last year when I shipped out my sfs to show my unwavering commitment to Gordon Hayward I am doing the same to Brandon Knight. He is the clear pg of the team and will be for hopefully years to come. [...] I really liked Collison and he has a great contract but I have to show commitment to Knight and that comes first.

This is the second signing post where I have read that a PA is not communicating as they should with all GMs who have put in offers for a free agent.

The same situation with pelicans, the player agent didn't reply to my message for reggie jackson.. Ghazny in your case I do need to apologize. Your offer got lost in the hundred or so PMs I've had for free agency and I never sent an initial reply to you, whereas I did for the Pelicans. I am sorry you weren't given a chance at signing Reggie. When I did go find it just now, it wouldn't have changed the outcome though. You're offer came 5 days into free agency and was for $66 million. That doesn't negate the strengths of Brooklyn's offer which came immediately when free agency opened and was for the max $146 million. It still doesn't change my mistake here though, again I am sorry.
