Praying that this decision doesn't haunt me like past decisions... WITH THE 3rd PICK IN THE 2016 D5 DRAFT, THE ORLANDO MAGIC SELECT KRISS DUNN, PG, PROVIDENCEI'll draft Kriss Dunn, his ceiling and floor both seem high enough to warrant a third overall selection in my opinion. I love defense and he seems like a great defender, I think he and Gobert on the same team will help our perimeter and interior defense shine as we look to build a defensive minded team while adding offensive pieces through free agency and future drafts. I believe he is a guy who fits his situation in real life well, playing for a solid coach on a team that is pretty damned talented, so I think he'll have the opportunity to be a top contributor and some of the attention to other guys will allow him to have his moments on offense. I've already got a deal sending out Michael Carter Williams to clear up room at the point; Schroeder is officially on the board, so hit me up with interest. #MakeOrlandoGreatAgain:-* Love the pick. I think it's like 2012 where Lillard went 6th but was clearly the second best player and Vlade made a great choice to take him with the 2nd pick anyway. Dunn didn't go quite as high as 3, but he's at least the third best player in the draft imo.

I think he will have the biggest overall impact coming out of college in the NBA right now and will perform well quickly. The player that I think could be the best in here in the long run is Bender, because bigs who can shoot and rebound destroy in the sim.

man this is a hard decision. sorry for the wait, guys. Next Level Decision Making 101: - Narrow your choice to two players - Grab a coin, one player is heads, the other is tails - Flip the coin, while it's in midair you'll instinctively feel yourself hoping the coin lands heads or tails - Pick that player you instinctively wanted - Didn't feel anything? Pick the player based on the result of the coin flip Or I don't know, put up their pictures on your wall, blindfold yourself, and throw a dart at the wall. That's cool too.

This is a tough decision for our organization because we already have so many bigs and we were specifically targeting guards but we believe as a rebuilding team, it is more important for us to take the best player available. Having said so, the New York Knicks select...
Dragan Bender, out of Croatia.

Thank the dear lord baby Jesus, we're down to the 12 hour time limit. Though this year's top five actually went quite quickly compared to previous years that had multiple trades and extended negotiations. Jeremiah Hill has until 8am tomorrow morning.

Bender also fits the specific mold that I am trying to build my team into, as a big man with a jump shot.
Welcome to the team, Dragan. We believe you have a bright future playing alongside players of similar molds in Kieff, Aaron and Frank.

The instinct method with the coin flip is how I do it. My Fiance an I will play Rock-Paper-Scissors. One of us is, let's say, "Pizza" for dinner, the other is a "Burger". As we play, we can kind of tell if one of us really wants to win or not. Which lets us know which food we want. Then again, we both hate losing, so it's a terrible method.

https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/4q3bvy/research_into_thon_makers_age_probably_far_older/ This isn't proper or official journalism, but's still pretty convincing. I wouldn't be surprised if a more legit outlet picks up the story and checks the sources. Thon Maker as a raw 19 year old that couldn't consistently dominate Canadian high school kids is one thing. You know it's an issue, but it's a risk you might take. Thon Maker as a raw 22 year old that couldn't consistently dominate Canadian high school kids is a fatal error. That means his body will only fill out a fraction of what you'd expect if he were 19, and that he only has 2-3 years of development instead of 5-6 years. The fact that John Hammond might have suspected like other GMs, but then picked him anyway with a top 10 pick is mind blowing.

I don't understand how lying about your age isn't a breach of contract -- teams should be completely off the hook for any salary to a player that lies about something like that.
