Houston Sends:
79 Wesley Matthews $11,406,000 $12,204,955 $13,059,302 $13,973,452 $14,951,595
74 Kyle Singler $5,500,000 $6,105,000 $6,776,550 $7,500,000 $8,000,000
$16,906,000
Indiana Sends:
77 Wilson Chandler $7,400,000
75 Jason Smith $1,014,672
71 Miles Plumlee $700,000
76 Mike Miller $1,000,000
Samuel Dalembert $4,000,000
2nd Philadelphia 2017
$14,114,672 * 1.25 = ~ 17.6 Million > $16,906,00
Ok, so I accept this trade. Originally it was something else, which would have made me need a more established center than Nurkic on my roster, which is why the trade with Troy was being done. But as I am not moving someone, I no longer need to do the trade with Miami.
My season has been an absolute disaster. Plain and simple. Its a dumpster fire. I never expected that my team would be this bad, and I just could never figure out why they were playing so poorly.
When looking at the differences between this year and last year, Matthews and Singler were two additions this past off-season that haven't really fit. And they are taking up 18.3 Million next season. So I am happy to get them off the books with this trade.
Rather than try and keep them and see what happens with the off-season and go in to the off-season with them, I would rather trade them away and move forward with my team.
I accept.

I know, but at the same time, it is about the fit as well. NOTHING went right this season. Nothing. I love Wes, but I think it's just best to start it fresh and try it again. And I tried moving Wes earlier this season, and I was having to give up pieces like Young, Hunter, even Nurkic. So I was smart and waited, and now I have to give up nothing additionally. Just a rough season for the Rockets. I have a very high average overall rating for my starting 5, and it should have put me in the playoffs, but hey, can't do much about it right now. And I couldn't make a lot of moves to get better in-season, I really did try. I have exhausted all of my options at this point and just feel this is the best route to go with my team right now.

Also, if Giannis becomes the Point Freak, and I play him at the point, I think I want a high scoring shooting guard over a 3 and D guy that Wes is.

I just really like Wes Hate to see him shuffled around like this is all. Who knows though, the sim is a fickle beast, moving him could unlock your team's potential

I'd be curious to see how the sim would handle Giannis at the point. Knowing how fluky it gets, he could be a turd when in actuality that's his best spot on the court, offensively.

I accept. Both you guys know what you're doing and this doesn't harm either team.

Wes has been playing well. I don't like the Singler contract, but it is what it is. My team didn't perform very well this season, probably not a free agent destination. So let's get a quality player on a longer contract. The Philly pick should be very low.

I plan on keeping Matthews Jeremiah. As mentioned, Indiana isnt likely a free agent destination. This trade would be virtually a free agent signing for me.

And I felt like the way my team was playing that Jackson would not want to resign in Free Agecy so I traded him for something. Matthews I don't have to worry about resigning.
