I mentioned trading Crawford for a big. I do like this trade for Portland. But you were suppose to trade Crawford to me for a big damn it:)

My brain hurts a little to be honest. Orlando, are you joking? Best young C in the NBA?
I'm not trying to make fun but I think you honestly might think you're getting something great in Thabeet, where in actuality you are still moving one of the best true C's in the game for...well probably not enough.
I have to think about it for a little, Crawford for Chandler doesn't seem like a good match value-wise but maybe I'm undervaluing Crawford a little.

I accept
Thabeet is not the best young center in the league, but him along with Crawford and Williams' contracts are amazing compared to Chandler's. With Orlando wanting to start from scratch, he gets much needed salary relief plus one of the best 6th men in the league.

When Blake took over the Magic I bet every all-star calibre player called their player union rep out of pure fear. Mr Bowman stop trading away your most valuable assets for the first deal that comes along!
As far as I'm concerned Thabeet's potential is drying up, and that's all he ever really had going for him, he's worth less than Darko Milicic was back in the day, and Darko's only got a few more years to finally show that he was worth more than Wade and Bosh, lol.
So I see this trade as being Jamal Crawford for Tyson Chandler, which is silly. Crawford is underrated in my opinion, he's a solid shooting guard that for some reason got shipped around the league too often to establish himself, but nevertheless he's 32 now compared to Tyson's 30 and he hasn't just been awarded DPOY and All Defensive 2nd Team honours.
I reject.

Yea, people have to realize Tyson isn't really overpaid by much, he's a STUD defensive player and is SMART on the court, both on Offense (knows his limitations and stays away from them) and Defense (everything about defense is what Tyson knows).
There's also a possibility he joins Amar'e on some of his workouts with Hakeem, which would just be awesome.
I have to reject too.

What would have to be added for Mr. Noble and Walt to equal this a fair trade?

This is a reject from me as well. Once again Blake is undervaluing Tyson.

What would have to be added for Mr. Noble and Walt to equal this a fair trade? Players/picks/value that at least comes close to equaling Tyson Chandler? Not our job to make a trade for you. Don't mean to be a jerk about it but it annoys me a little when managers expect us to basically spell out a trade for them. Figure out a good trade, if it feels like you're raping the guy and doing a happy dance afterwards, it's probably gonna get rejected.

If you are trading for a starter, then you need one back of similar value. This time DPOY comes into play so you gotta add a little extra. And it can't be a scrub starting on a losing or rebuilding team. And you gotta make sure they are proven players, not has potential...
Now that I think about it my offer for chandler was close... Maybe not cuz I was giving you an expiring for a defensive player with a longer contract...
Just my thoughts

Was just asking to see what your guy's value of Chandler is because mine and other people's opinions on him vary. Wasn't looking for you to "spell a trade out", but ya thanks for the feedback.

IMO, Chandler has to be considered an all-star... The guy was DPOY, his ratings are going to increase a lot next season, you can't trade the best defensive player on the league for a role player. Ratings or stats here doesn't mean anything. Crawford is an offensive guard with good shooting, Chandler is a defensive monster.

I like to apologize for saying we should get rid of the TC. This is exactly why we have it...every trade i've seen Orlando make has been stupid in some sort of way. That includes this one.. "Thabeet is one of the best young centers in the NBA" Maybe the Thabeet from Uconn...once he hit NBA, he became a bust. Its clear hes not anything worth dealing for. Chandler SHOULD be an allstar, DPOY, best defensive Center in the league, and your getting Thabeet and other role players in return? This trade is ridiculous.

I think this is a fair trade in itself, but combined with everything else Orlando is involved in, its just a mess.

I've had many trades rejected over the years and I know it's frustrating. I know Portland from other leagues and I know he is legit. I don't know Orlando and all I can say is don't get mad bro, just keep trying. Sometimes it's good to have a David stern. It's good for the league and that's what our TCs are.
