Not sure if we even need a thread for a rookie, but it's not often that a 2nd rounder is signed part way through the year. So anyway I suggest Powell gets a 68. But does it matter what his rating is? Rookies taken outside the lottery are irrelevant until they earn their first rating increase. Just give Powell something, who cares.
He is pretty good though, he averages just 6.7 minutes per game and has only played 29 times, but there have been two occasions where the Raps gave him extended minutes. In 24 mins against the Sixers he put up 8 points and 4 rebounds, and in 21 mins against the Blazers he put up 10 points and 6 boards.
The only other place he gets playing time is the D-League, and he's destroying them whenever he gets sent down. He's averaging 24.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists on 50% shooting.

Can we do this? I asked to have Seth Curry created so i could sign him last season. I was told to wait until Ian created him. Then of course when he was i didnt find out about it until he was signed by Miami.

I actually have to do this before the end of the year or I lose his rights and he becomes a free agent. |

If you own DR's to a player, it is your responsibility to post a Create-A-Player thread in order for him to become real.
You can still sign the player without them being created, see: Nikola Jokic
When it comes to players who would be Free Agents that are not in the game, they are created before the off-season begins and that is when they become available to sign.
@jr, I believe Seth Curry is in the game already.

Does he exist yet? I'm pumped for him to be on my team. Over his last 6 games he's putting up 14.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists on 53% shooting. He's probably already the Raps best perimeter defender too. I want to go buy a Norman Powell jersey and he's quickly becoming one of my favourite players in the NBA. You dun goofed Walt Frazier!  |

You offer and push really hard for a 2nd round pick who hasn't done anything all year, get me to give him to you, and then this kid breaks out conveniently just AFTER I trade him. I want to raise mine from 68. Powell has a bit of a history now that we can judge him on based on the end of last season and the playoffs. He's still buried on the bench behind a now healthy Carroll, Terrence Ross, and Cory Joseph though. I'm going with a 73.
