Holiday's played 1 game more than Deron, and Norris Cole's at least been passable. I'll give you the Pels having to play Alonzo Gee significant minutes, but that still doesn't make up for getting to play off an MVP level guy in Anthony Davis. Holiday was on a 25 minute restriction until January. Their centers have been either Asik (LOL) or Perkins (LOL). You can talk all you want about Dirk, but if ZaZa wasn't on that team the Mavericks would be in the tank just like the Pelicans. The pelicans literally have 3 MAYBE 4 (Health) NBA level players on their roster. Except for AD, Jrue, and Cole they are just as bad as the 76ers. AD has literally won us like 20 more games than the sixers have managed. I thought you were from CHA?

I'm originally from West Virginia, and my grandma was a New Orleans native, so when I had to choose between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and New Orleans it was a pretty damn easy choice. The Hornets are cool, though. Fun Fact: The term "Hornets" comes from an old war paper from the revolutionary war, where a british paper called Charlotte "A Hornet's Nest of Rebellion".

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means 'a whale's vagina'.

Anyway, Danny Longley Let's look at tonight's box score: Please keep telling me how Deron Williams and Zaza Pachulia and JJ Barea and Wesley Matthews are terrible teammates for Dirk. Please keep telling me about how its 92 rated AD's fault that the pelicans keep losing games. How many players on this team should be on an NBA roster? By the way, the answer is 3: AD, Jrue, Ryno Do you even know who all these players are? You're looking at players that the 76ers wouldn't even sign.

In fact, we could just look at it from a D5 point of view.
How many people on the Pelicans are rated above a 75 lol
How many are even in the sim?

Can't really look at rosters right now, but I never implied that the Pelicans were losing due to AD. I was saying that RyNo gets to play 2nd fiddle while Dirk has no such luxury.

Anyway, sure the Mavs might be deeper, particularly at guard, but it's not like the overall roster is worlds better.
Eric Gordon was actually putting up decent numbers before going down just last week - I'd still take Wes for the long run and because he's a way better defender, but EG shot 42 and 39 from the field and 3 respectively compared to Wes shooting 39 and 35.
Parsons is playing pretty well now, but also had a minute limit earlier in the season.
I love Zaza, and he's been amazing for us this season - but he's still just about an NBA average starting center and again, is nowhere near an Anthony Davis.
As for the bench, we've got Dwight Powell, Javale McGee, Salah Mejiri, Charlie Villanueva and the recently signed David Lee. Aside from Lee, none of them are over 73 here. I'd take Asik over Mejiri, Villanueva and McGee - heck I'd rather have Ajiinca over said three.
Pels guards are shit though, aside from Holiday and Cole, I'll give you that.

Probably dumb to compare Dirk and AD considering there games are entirely different other than being tall.

Eric Gordon was out for 6 weeks before he went out again last week. Cole was out the first couple months too.

Dirk through March,12 games so far:
23.7 PPG/6.8 RPG/2.3 APG
52.7% FG/38.3% 3PT/89.6% FT
Trying to will the Mavs to the Playoffs, still in the chase but it's getting pretty bleak with Parsons down.
