Reasoning: OKC does this trade to improve our chances in the playoffs and show Boogie and Durant that the organization has a win now mentality. Also, by the selection of players leaving OKC, we should have enough cap space (provided the NBA cap goes up as planned) to resign Conley in the off-season. We hate to see Davis and Nance go, but this is the direction OKC wants/needs to go in considering our current situation. Washington does this trade as they realize it's time to throw the cards in and start the rebuilding process around Russell.
