Current - 69 Suggested - 74
Definitely isn't a 69 overall. Averaging 7.4 pts, 6.8 rebounds, 1.3 blks, and shooting 57%.

74 for now, I'd go higher if he has the opportunity to do just what he's done this year, for another year.
If he starts to get more PT, I'd have a few more points in my pocket because he does some things pretty well.

The best sophomore player in the league.
If he was on the 76ers and Nerlens was on the rockets you'd be swapping their ratings. Capella is the 80, not Nerlens.

Cool story, bro. /Not trying to prove anything to anyone, just voting. But if you watched the Rockets, you'd know how fucking good Capela is when Dwight is out. He is the best sophomore player in the league. Yes -- better than Wiggins. I know that from the eye test (I work like 10 hours a week). If you want proof, meh. I'm not a writer, but here is the words of someone who is: spacecityscoop.com/2016/01/20/emergence-clint-capela/

Comes across as arrogant to me. But, again, it's your opinion and that's fine. Also, yes, the guy who is tasked with writing articles for a something that's essentially called "Houston Basketball" wrote an article about Capela. I find his use of PER 36 kind of amateur tbh, at least when he uses them to try and make the point he's making. "Look, using math, his extremely limited impact of 3.4 Rebounds per game and 2.5 Rebounds per game (yes, it does say Rebounds twice, wake up Curt Low, you have one job here, it's WRITING!) would equal 16.2 points and 11.9 Rebounds." Great job Curt. I get you're writing an article under the heading "Analytically Thinking" but that's even MORE reason, IMO, not to use stats in such a nonchalant manner. Anyway, rant over on the article writer. I think his PER36 numbers also look great, but he's just gotta do it more consistently and in bigger minutes for a longer amount of time for me. Other than that, I think he's awesome.

I'm just saying if we are trying to ignore player situation and only look at ability, we have to put Capela at least on par with Nerlens. I think Nerlens isn't as good as he comes across as well, I think his defensive game is less good than it seems and his offensive game is better than it actually is. At least how it's being portrayed in rating threads anyway. Nerlens is soooo deficient on offense. He can literally only do PNR. That doesn't necessitate a large amount of inside scoring IMO. Capela on the other hand has post moves, and uses them, and looks fucking great. But plays behind Dwight Howard... My opinion is not that out-there. I guess we will see given future opportunities that present situations do not present Capela won me money in daily

I guess we will see given future opportunities that present situations do not present Capela won me money in daily I just think that it is a slippery slope. I think we should all consider how good we think a player is, but at some point, we have to temper that with the actual effect they are having on NBA games. If we use stats like per / 36 too heavily, we will end up with everyone over an 80. Cole Aldrich, as much as I like that dude, would be like a 90. So, as much as I do personally like capela's game, we just need to wait for him to have a bigger effect on NBA games. He's doing well, just needs to do it for longer and in more minutes for a lot of people here to rate him higher. Myself included.

(This is not a rant, just a thought) That is why we have a stockwatch, to collate the opinions and analysis and GUESS of SOME of us to come with a number near to the fact. I am one of those who wants to put the right rating to every guy even though it seems it is against the majority. So 78
