Let us wait for him to be traded first in real life.

They should bench him for his entire contract. Good luck getting a contract after that.

I've been debating on this rating for a bit now. Do I vite how I think his skills are (79) or do I vote on his production (74) this is always the arguement we have. Well I'm of the opinion that coachability and professionalism are skills. He is shooting career low percentages. Particularly bad because he's never been that strong of a 3 point shooter. He hasn't been able to mesh with his team or coaches. I don't anticipate his stats changing or improving until he switches teams. That might not be until his contract is over to be honest. How long do we give someone the benefit of the doubt.
So I'm gonna go with 76.

The question that we should be answering is the overall value of the totality of his skills, not the number that fits his current production. Am I correct?

Thats such a double edged sword though isn't it. I mean he was overrated to begin with to start. And secondly how long do you let what you think a players skills are let you ignore the fact that for whatever reason those skills are just not translating to producton. For some guys they could float longer because they have a track records to support the thought that they might just be in a slump or the situation has changed (K Love). But with guys like Markieff he only has a track record of being a below average player. So last year when he sort of broke out a bit it was exciting but he has not produced for months now. The allstar game is coming up. Historically that was sort of the cuttoff point for players that we were sort of making excuses for being in a slump. I try to find the balance in these situations.
