Dieng is the best piece in this trade, but with Collisons contract I get why Walt does it. I don't like Muhammad but I get it for Nola too I guess. Idfk why he's sending picks though. He should be getting them not sending them lol. Collison is the most polished player in this trade

I accept. Like last year when I shipped out my sfs to show my unwavering commitment to Gordon Hayward I am doing the same to Brandon Knight. He is the clear pg of the team and will be for hopefully years to come.
I like Shabazz he has great potential and is super young and tbh those 2nds would've gone to waste anyway since I don't have the space for my many many picks.
I really liked Collison and he has a great contract but I have to show commitment to Knight and that comes first.

I accept.
I'm tired of running Mo Williams out as my starting PG. And, I had a very shaky backup pg situation so this helps by improving my starting pg.
I love Dieng. I like him more than Collision, though not by much, because...
KAT is THE big man in Minnesota IRL, obviously. Can they be the starting front court together? I'm not sure, but I know KAT is dominating that team for a long time, especially the next few years where Dieng is still on that team. His near-future outlook doesn't have a lot of upside.
Additionally, my personal team has Jahlil, Favors, Dieng, WCS, and Capela. I'm pretty damn happy with my bigs, and can afford to use one to help my team out.
On another level, yes, Collison can serve as some insurance at my PG position since Bledsoe has that PO, but I still expect him back to lead this team on one contract or another. Collison is also an amazing backup PG once Bledsoe is back next year and going forward.
And finally, even though I'm kinda low in the standings, the West is kind of open at the bottom of the playoffs. I'm not willing to give up the season yet. Collison shows my team I still want to win. And if I can do it, or even get close, it will show the upside this team has to convince Eric and Derrick to come back and blow up the league next season!

I wish I could talk more people in to smart trades. If I had any sway in this, that's cool. Scal made a great move here.

Brian ScalabrineYou're one of the best trade rapers in this league, I'm completely amazed I got the better of you here. I'm horrible at negotiating. Good luck with Shabazz though... ideally this trade will be great for us both

If Bazz gets moved in real life Scal could look like a genius.

If Bazz gets moved in real life Scal could look like a genius. You seen Dieng play? ' Dieng as a starter this season: 14.3 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 2.2 apg, 1.2 bpg on 61% FG THAT BEING SAID. I personally think Shabazz could be the next Melo, but I am assuming I was wearing shabazz-coloured goggles.

I think this'll be a mutually beneficial trade for all of us. I'm not going to cry over Darren Collison and two 2nds if this helps me keep Knight. And that's not even getting to Shabazz who should be quite good.

I still fail to see why Brandon Knight would care if Collison is on the roster. And whats the point of shipping off a bunch of Small Forwards if your just gonna trade for another one right after.

I think the trade overall is really good for all involved. Just the reasoning is dumb.

I saw what happened with Chuck and Bledsoe and the rules don't seem so clear to me. I'd rather not take the risk of losing my good young player especially since I didn't just give Collison away I think I got great value back.
