Step slower this year with limited minutes, although we know Coach Pop is reserving him for the playoffs, i really dont think his numbers right now ( 8-8-3) is worth an 86.
also the Question is, if KG is rated 75 right now, why not lower Duncan's stats?
Current rating: 86 Suggested rating: 80

Because Tim Duncan is still contributing to the second best team in the west and is playing all-defensive team caliber defense. Whereas KG who should be rated a 68 except for James Kay being an asshole proving that his ratings are all bullshit causing him to go higher.

LOL looks like are salty about my stock watch threads after all.... How was I being an asshole about KG? I love KG, he's been my avatar for like 3 years... I don't think its that crazy to give a top 3 PF of all time a 75 rating in his final season.. He is shooting a fine % and his BBIQ is top notch and defense isn't terrible. Furthermore, it left a really bad taste in my mouth when I tried to sign KG this off-season, and lose out on him to your team with money to burn because you have no immediate plans for your cap-space, and then I watch you turn around and try to rate him a 68 to further your tanking efforts. I would've loved to give KG a farewell tour on the Hornets - a winning team. Instead he is now treated as tank fodder in Memphis...

Contributing in a very real way to the Spurs, especially on defense. 83.5

82. Even his per 36 numbers are just 12 and 11. He's still elite on defense, but he needs to take a hit in most of his offensive categories.

I wasn't anticipating KG getting a rating decrease at all. However I see a guy averaging 3.5ppg and 4.7rpg shooting a career low from FT and has his second worst block rate in his career (last year was the lowest). Now the simple fact of the matter is that he's doing real bad. Way worse than anyone anticipated. That's not my fault and any other person in my position would have noticed (I pay attention most to my players) and said something.

Not trying to sound biased here with the rating. I just feel with LMA on the team he has now taken an even bigger back-seat role. He's playing amazing defence and saving himself for the playoffs.
