Thanks Zack! With Zack Galiafinakis on the coaching staff, the Bobcats defeat the Pistons by 21!
2-2, that's the record of the Bobcats with assistant coaches so far. Gene Simmons and Ric Flair weren't successful to help the Bobcats to win, losing to the Raptors and to the Nets, but Hulk Hogan and Zack Galiafinakis helped the Bobcats a lot! A 17-point win over Denver and a 21-point win over Pistons, that was the wins that Bobcats were able to get with this two guys.
When asked about the help that the guest assistants had, Kemba Walker was clear: 'It's not like they help us with plays to do in game, but the motivational stuff here in Charlotte is incredible... You got Rodman, you got a different star everygame cheering for you, we may be in Charlotte, but with this much stars here with us, we feel like if we're in New York or Los Angeles or Miami, it's incredible!'
Ben Gordon, a Charlotte's newcomer put on a show on his 2nd game with 31 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds, after this fantastic game, he said: 'I've never experienced anything like this! It's so much support, so much different people that know you, that go there and tell stories that make you really motivated and relaxed on the game, Flair and Zack were perfect! Zack made everybody laugh and everybody entered the game relaxed and confident in our skillks, having Rodman and his weird tactics and plays helps too, and you can't forget the excellent staff that we've with Muggsy and the guys, it's really great to play with the Bobcats!'
Mullens on the move?
It was an incredible start for young center/forward Byron Mullens, he combined perfectly with Bismack Biyombo and had some great games, but Marcus Camby and now Kris Humphries have sent him on the bench and maybe the Bobcats 6th man is on the move to another NBA team.
When asked about it, Lutkus said: 'We all love Mullens here, his presence, he's so simple, so nice with everyone that it's hard to trade him, we received an offer and we're inclined to accept, we believe that it's better for both of us, he's going to get a shot at the championship and we're going to get more and more future depth. We love Mullens and we're sure that, like Kirk Hinrich, he knows that the Charlotte's door will always be open to him.'
