Technically it's not the minimum it's just (more or less) the smallest contract that isn't the minimum. Kind of shitting in the face of the spirit of the rule with this new contract. I dunno why but $750,000 feels like a better "non-minimum/minimum" contract but this contract is actually not the minimum and is not illegal as far as I know the rules to be at the moment. Ian Noble - this contract good or no?

He's using his MLE for this, I suppose? yup Then yea I think he could make it whatever amount he wants technically. And I could be wrong but I think as long as he's using the MLE, he could technically offer the same amount as the MLE (or maybe like, one dollar more) and it would be legal. Just have to make sure you state that he's using the MLE in the first post. Should be fine, I think.

The contract was originally set up like it was to make sure that I was able to fit all my offers in with my MLE. Since I missed out on a bunch of free agents I was targeting, it became less of an issue as we went forward.
When I was read it was illegal, I changed it to more than the minimum to accommodate.
If you guys think it should be changed let me know (or the player agent) and we will work it out.
