Year 1: $ 8,000,000 Year 2: $ 8,880,000 Year 3: $ 9,856,800 (player option) Year 4: $ 10,941,048 (team option) Year 5: $ 12,144,563 Carlos nearly signed with the Spurs, but ultimately went to where there was more guaranteed money with the Pistons. Carlos will be starting with Detroit.

Carlos will be starting with Detroit. We are rebuilding. We are not paying a vet guaranteed money. He wanted no Team Option in yr2. We needed a big, but FA in the next year or two will bring us what we need. Best of luck Carlos. Keep spending that money Detroit...

This year we need boozer next season will boost the salary cap so its not a problem and player option in erd year its up to him if he will option out or in.
