San Antonio Spurs Trade: 77 Chris Kaman $6,876,550 $7,632,971 2019#1 SA
Washington Trades: 74 Kevin Seraphin $1,014,672
The Spurs except this deal. Although we lose a future first in 2019, we do this to free up cap space for a few FAs. We see that pick being so far into our future, that by then we will being drafting through FA and not the draft.
We do get Seraphin who backed up NENE in Washington last season IRL. He is looking for a starting position and he may have a chance with is this season.
We are looking to find out who plays best together this season and who we want our core to be moving forward. We have lots of talent, but we need a big to complete our roster going into next season. Hint the reason we need cap space.
The more talent we have, the more likely we will be able to encourage top tier FAs to sign with us next season and the season after.
The Spurs have a plan in place. It's just filling the needed holes and seeing who wants to be here....who wants to win...and who knows how to win and play SA basketball!!
We accept and look forward to the best season since TD, Parker and Manu had the reins...

Mind you own business. We know what we are doing. Wait until you lose Lebron or that hard cap hits you in your ass...then we will see how your team does...
I think we are doing just fine even after trading our past picks and losing Duncan by error, etc.
Things are about to change in Miami very soon...
I'm going to laugh my ass off...
And really who are you to question... You cant even win a title with the best player in the game!! That's sad!!

Cap will be 100 million next year. hard cap will be 200% of that. do the math. research first before you make some hard cap comments.
goodluck with you trading your pick again. i hope TC's learned their lesson over the years that JR doesn't really have any plans on his team.

I'm sure they know by now that I'll be just fine. And just be lucky the cap didn't start this season, which it should have. I really don't care what you say. If I had that roster we would have won by now. I'll take all the issues I was given getting to this point with my team..then having a contending team every year with the best player and not once winning it all!! I have a talented team moving forward. And cap to bring in FAs. It's easy to take the millions of dollars you have and switching players and making trades, etc...because you have the cap to play with. You can adjust that roster all you want...but now the fact is you still can't win it...and Lebrons leaving....very very soon...

hard cap actually started this season. if you have this roster you would have won right now? i really don't think you can be a gm and coach in this game. lol GSW is actually a better team than mine.
lebron is leaving? i would make you a bet right now, Quit if LeBron will resign next season with me. game?

Trading a 1st rounder for minimal cap room 2 weeks into free agency after all the good FAs have signed. Interesting strategy.

Not making a bet to leave the league. Not on terms like that. Let's make this bet... Whoever wins the title first... The other gm resigns before the next season begins... I really don't want the league to lose even a jackass like yourself... But agree to this and we have a deal!!! You have the advantage...

Lol But seriously I was making this trade before today, but the FA I was going after signed with someone else for less. I'm doing what I need to so that I can bring in FAs next season and the season after. I need the talent so that we are a destination for FAs

So I'm guessing since both gms have not accepted I can cancel if I want?

The Spurs are canceling our acceptance of this trade, while we talk to Washington and others to make the best offer.

I dunno JR. You posted so that is an automatic accept.
You might technically need the Wizards to allow you out of the deal now.
If he had posted and you came on and said "no thanks" that's fine. But since you posted you locked yourself in, just my understanding.

That's fine. It does not matter. It works for me either way. I'm not trying to screw anyone over. I'm not even sure Was wants the deal. I have $6 mil in cap this season and next. Calling all FAs...lmao

Haha I hear you, I'm just going off what I remember but these types of decisions ultimately lay at Ian Noble doorstep.

The rule is the rule. And there should be a rule in place. Really it should not be held accountable until both accept. It would be awesome if I could post a trade from someones account for an all star, accept it...and the gm and trade get accepted because the gm can't unaccept!! Lol. I need to get into hacking...

Plus Ian would just check the IP from the time of post and then boot you from the league. Or something.

When a GM posts a deal it's counted as an automatic accept.
I reject though. Spurs need picks.

Yea, cutting through the red tape here, even if the Wiz say they're not backing out of this deal...my decision upon seeing this trade was a quick reject. Just got caught up talking about that other stuff.
Spurs not getting nearly enough for a 1st rounder.
Reject.

Reject. If JR is out then this already questionable deal probably shouldn't happen.
