for
Indiana Pacers Trade: 81 Andrew Bogut $11,324,021 $11,849,023 $12,453,234 $12,932,403 $13,432,003 80 David West $10,500,000 $11,655,000 $12,937,050 $14,360,125 75 Danny Granger $5,000,000 $5,550,000 $6,160,500 75 Kendrick Perkins $5,000,000 $5,550,000 71 Austin Daye $2,000,000 $2,220,000 $2,464,200 $2,735,262 $33,824,021
I accept this deal.
I have to give up my starting PF and C. I get Horford in return, though. I have to trade "The Pacer" Danny Granger, and my newly acquired C Perkins, but I can give Fredette another chance, and get to see what Harris and Nogueira can do.

Not sure what Washington is doing here. But I'm interested to see how it works.

I Accept. I need to have a team that can manage to win more games than last season because I don't have my 2016 Pick. Having role players like them, I think my team will manage to be atleast between 11-20. I really want to re-sign Al Horford but because of not having players that can make him stay in my team this is the least I can do for him. Indiana will probably re-sign him. I know I have the cap space to sign players to make him stay but I thought that it's better for me to tank again this coming 2016-17 & 2017-18 Season because I have my pick. It's still better if you have the control over your pick than relying in the pick that you get from other teams. ^^

Currently leaning on rejecting, it just seems off to me for Washington.
You want to win, so your idea is to trade your best player who I believe you have bird rights on for role-players? I dunno, maybe it's not as bad as I think it is, but I really don't like it.

Bogut and West are both ageing, injury prone and declining players. Those contracts will sting in the long run.

I get that the Wiz don't have their pick next year but this trade hampers their rebuild progressing after next year AND doesn't give much hope of any success before then either. It's an ugly bunch of players to take on board imho.

Pretty brutal contracts that you are receiving in return.

Washington you are killing your team here long-term. Ratings on both Bogut and West will go down, their contracts are poisonous.
Keeping Horford may not be a great option for you, but it's a better option than doing this trade.
Reject.

This trade looks like one where people were just looking at the ratings of the players, but those will likely change. Bogut has only averaged like 6 points and 8 rebounds over the last 3 years. He definitely needs a decrease. Then West is 34 years old and had his least productive season in a decade, he's obviously on the decline. He just got a decrease so he might be fine at 80 for a year or so but he's trending in the wrong direction too.
Also given the make up of the Wizards roster, Horford is the only truly valuable piece. I agree the right thing to do is trade him, but messing up this trade could set the team back years. The return here is just a bunch of washed up players to be honest so I have to reject.

Was he ever or did I just dream that he was? I think he was in Franchise 5, if I remember right.

I was about to comment on this deal but last time I commented on a West + others for Horford deal I was burned from everywhere.
