Current rating: 92
Suggested rating: 89 (changed from 90 to 89)
I feel like Anthony doesn't deserve to be with the rest of the 90+ players at this point but I am giving him the benefit of the doubt with a 90.

Melo doesnt deserve a 90 now tbh. Dunno how you put him a 90 while giving an all-season injured Al Jeff an 82.
88.5

Then again, the 90 is probably high and the 82 for Jefferson could be low. I could see Melo reaching a rating close to 90 with decent stats in most of categories. On the other hand, Jefferson could have high rebounding ratings, good inside scoring, high strength, a fair blocking rating and a decent dunk rating. I might be missing some rating but I could easily imagine the rest of the ratings being low (speed, quickness, jumping, field goals, ft, defensive awareness, dribbling, others). Like I said in other threads, the 3-pointer affects the overall a lot and Jefferson should get a 1 there like many players in the original nba live o6 roster.

I wouldn't judge him too hard on this past season. Team wasn't good, he clearly just wanted to play in the All-Star game and then have his surgery (which he otherwise would have had earlier in the season...said another way, he DID play hurt for a good chunk of the half season he played).
So, I'll put a 91 mainly to balance out the ratings I see as a bit harsh based on a season that was a throw-away season for him.

Hmm, I originally voted 90 and then, I changed to 89 but I am feeling like going back to 90, hahahah. I will probably stay at 89 though. Melo is one of those guys that should get a high overall because he can get decent ratings in most categories (at least in offense).

Equal ratings does not mean equal skills For the example I gave I believe they kinda do. Their styles are not exactly the same but they would only vary 2 or 3 ratings.

Melo does one thing, and that's score 30 ppg in ways that other human beings have no chance of scoring.
