We're in a big hole now. But man, how many years in a row can Dallas overperform?

I genuinely don't understand how Dallas does so well. He's got a few good players and sim-god Dirk, but jesus.

How the hell is this team 7-0 in the playoffs:
C - 88 Dirk Nowitzki F - 77 Chris Andersen F - 80 Paul Pierce G - 77 Courtney Lee G - 84 Rajon Rondo
Beating this team:
C - 84 Brook Lopez F - 82 Ryan Anderson F - 88 Paul George G - 92 James Harden G - 87 Kyrie Irving
and this team:
C - 83 Tyson Chandler F - 81 Draymond Green F - 85 Rudy Gay G - 84 Eric Bledsoe G - 85 Derrick Rose
Like what the hell? Dallas isn't even that good! They have 3 players rated 80+ and I have 7! If I was actually playing NBA Live right now I'd have thrown the controller through the TV.

Let's be real. Out of those players, who actually plays defense besides Paul George?

At least we gave Dallas their first loss. We have to make comeback history to stay alive though.

I'm not allowed to have favourites But I did think they were the sleepers since PG came back.

I'm not allowed to have favourites But I did think they were the sleepers since PG came back. PG comes back for 8 (I think) games, Alex gets him for a month and a half plus playoffs. Love goes down in the playoffs, I lose him for a month and a half plus playoffs. Nah, Im not salty or nothin man!!!

Of note: Texts between Jeremiah and Myself last night, post Kyrie news: Me: For the record, Kyrie did the cookin dance and didn't give thanks. J: Shut up lol Case in point, Denver has Kyrie and Harden. All you have to do Alex is make a public statement in the D5 Media Center and Thank the Based God. At this point, anything can help.

My bench isn't as deep as yours, but I feel like it was still deeper than Danny's. On paper, Danny and the Mavs are a 6-8 seed, you know? The line-up isn't full of 80's, like HOU, POR, GSW, DEN, OKC, and LAC. It is strictly Dirk. And we nerfed his stats this year. And when we did his stats, we re-arranged them a bit to make him more of the player that he is in real life. It just goes to show what happens when you have a 7 footer playing center who shoots the 3 so well, has a good post game, and can get some boards. IMHO, I would say Dirk is a below average defender, I'm sure there are stats out there that prove that statement wrong but, that's how I feel about him. SimGod Dirk. We need to end his reign of tyranny over the West!!

That is something we are not taking into account when just looking at ratings. The team built around Dirk would be a team you would build around him IRL. I tried to do that with Love and Rose, space the floor for the Rose/Bledsoe drives, and give a 1-4 post/drive iso for Rudy. I do think what you mentioned, Pinoy, is a great great point!! Big deal when looking at team comps.

Just gonna say that my thing was always to put a big beside Dirk that doesn't take away shots. It's why I dealt Ryan Anderson back then, why I dealt Nene this season and why I paid Jason Maxiell a dumbass contract . EDIT: Worst of it was the Quincy Acy experiment, probably could've gotten 50+ last season, but that dumbass move cost me like 3 games lol. As for the bench, I don't know Charles - I think I have a pretty solid bunch. Augustin, ET and Jameer had some solid starts albeit for some bad teams. Wright's exactly the kind of 2 tool guy I like for my benches, and Harris has been here forever. And of course: But eh, I haven't got much to base off - I just mess around with my lineups like everyone else, look for something that works and stick with it. Maybe Live just reads Dirk and Pierce's names during playoffs and boosts 'em to 100.

Not only a great mix in the starting five but also in the bench. which produce 40.4 points!
