I accept, this has been in the works for a long time now.
WAS - They trade Al, who is there best player but WAS needed to rebuild and i was able to supply him with a future C in Kelly (which was hard to give up) and a PF/C in Miles. Even though WAS wont have bird rights on Miles, he will have cap space to sign him back. Also, there are picks, a 1st and 2 2nds. WAS hardly had any picks due to GM t- Mac, so this is a good start for his team. I know GWS pick wont mean shit but it's still a first rounder at the end of the day, something this team does not have.
SAS - JR and I have been going back and forth for weeks now for Miles for Carrol. Ever since he traded Mitch and got picks in return, talks have been increasing. Jr gave up Miles for Carrol because Carrol will have bird rights and i wanted that 1st rounder along with Miles because i would be giving up someone who has bird rights.
TOR - Finally, i completed this deal because i get the best player, Al Horford. It's hard to trade for a guy who does not have bird rights but i took a look at my salary for 2017, and i have around 13 million - 15 million. I should be able to re-sign him, but it is a risk. I would of gave up more for Al IF i had bird rights but since i don't, i feel what i gave up is reasonable and acceptable.

Aww man, JR you had some continuity in your trades for the first time ever recently, but now this looks a bit shabby for you.

Well done to Bryan though, I'm surprised it's taken this long for Horford to leave Washington. If my team was trying to compete I would've targeted him long ago.
I accept.

Aww man, JR you had some continuity in your trades for the first time ever recently, but now this looks a bit shabby for you. I don't see how this is not a good trade for SA. Carroll is a better player than Plumlee. It cost us a 2nd rounder basically. I don't see Plumlee turning out being better overall.

Guess I have to do my thing where JR gets pissed at me.... Here we go
I do not like this for Washington. I think it's a solid idea for them to move Horford in the right deal, I get they have like nothing on the roster, but I don't think they get anything of worth in this deal.
Olynyk is putting up a whopping 10 and 5 and can only carve out 23 mpg on a pretty poor Boston team. As Boston builds that team, they are going to phase him out by the looks of things. Where is the value here? He should be no better than the 3rd best piece Washington gets for Horford, that's how big the value-gap is IMO.
GSW's 2015 1st is just about, as JR points out, a 2nd rounder. It's worth very little in terms of 1st rounders. That being said, I might like it better than Olynyk or about the same, but I think Washington needs to get more somehow.
This has 2 accept already and Colangelo is on the TC so it could pass I guess already, BUT, I'm putting in a
Reject

According to what you are saying, you want me to give up more and still not have the security of resigning Horford? It just doesn't make sense for my team or any team here to give up so much for a guy who may or may not resign back.

Maybe he should keep him and try to put something around him this offseason to entice him to stay in 2 offseasons. I dunno, but IMO he just doesn't get good value here.

Actually I agree with Walt. I first looked at this trade considering the concerns for the Spurs and thought it was fine for him. I pretty much just glanced at the other teams.
This really hurts the Wizards though. Washington is pretty much an Al Horford away from being the Memphis Grizzlies. He's their only valuable asset apart from draft picks so trading him away without a good return puts them in a really bad place. This trade pretty much comes down to Olynyk and the 2015 1st for Horford, and that's not a very good return. The 1st will be 28th to 30th and as much as I like Olynyk, he's unathletic and a little uncoordinated and that really limits his potential. He's a great offensive option to have but he'll never be a star big man. I think there has to be a better deal out there for Horford, this hurts the Wizards too much imo.
I change my vote to reject.

But Wizards is on a very early rebuilding stage and Horford is almost 29. I could hardly imagine him re-signing under those conditions with or without BRs.

I was bound to lose one trade I wanted. It is me against the World(Walt) you know. So be it.
It's sad you can take the time to worry over minor trade values and you can speak up or even get shit fair In the league and fix or help out someway to figure out the leagues injury issue.
At first your team was getting beat by teams that had players that were out of date rating wise. You got right on that. Check..it looks like your helping out us all.
Your team may get somewhere after all that work. You will lose in the first round if you make it in. Which I'm sure you will. But you still suck. Just like you did when I beat your ass last season with my vet overrated players. Who by the way still help teams now..rating adjustment or not.
You fixed one issue the league had...but it still has flaws and there is no system in place.
The leagues other main issue us is the injury system. There's nothing in place. And teams that are making runs in the league have players that need to be on the IR.
Take the time to fix those issues. It's not hard. Take time out of the rating game for now. Your basically caught up. Get the players on IR that belong. Get the league fair and even. Then continue with your ratings.
You says it right away. Yes it pisses me off. But there was no way I give more without Carroll.
It's ok guys just get the deal done without me. It works that way.
Now take care of the league Walr...the league has injury issues...fix it.

What the hell is Walt supposed to do about the injury stuff? That's all Ian. He's the only one that can do it since he's the one that actually sims games and adjusts lineups. Ian has also said multiple times he's not currently planning any changes to the injury system we have. I think Walt has become your boogeyman, and everything wrong is just his fault now. 'Oh no I lost a game.' Thanks Obama Walt!

He's the guy Ian leans on for help and advice. If he gets to be special..speak up...and maybe Ian will listen.
A closed mouth doesn't get fed.
If things need done speak up. I am. But not many others are.
I mean when there are players still playing in the sim that have been out all season and have played every damn min...thats any issue.
You can't have them play and other players out. And I've heard it before...ian hates hurting a gm in a place like Bucks with injuries. It's what we decided before the season. Injured players dont play.
If it was just players out all season it should have been that way from the get go. Don't change it now.
I want the league as real as possible but as fair as possible too.
And yea Alex...
Walt knew I would get started. It's what he does. Must get him off or something. Not sure yet...

We should also note he doesn't have his pick next year, so, at least on the surface to me, he should be looking to compete with horford, the lotto pick, plus whoever he signs next year in fa.

We should also note he doesn't have his pick next year, so, at least on the surface to me, he should be looking to compete with horford, the lotto pick, plus whoever he signs next year in fa. That is true. Then again, everyone was ok with Wizards sending Mo Williams for Jimmer and with the trades that led Washington to this awkward position. ex.: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/3574/wizards-pacersHorford, a lottery pick and a couple of FAs are not enough to compete. His 2nd best player right now is Kevin Seraphin and with the kind of players Wizards could sign in the off-season, Horford wouldn´t make a huge difference. They would be almost as good as they are right now. Also, I know as a fact that Wizards has been shopping Horford for some time now.

BRs on Horford kills the trade for me,and as with the others - Olynyk and a late 1st just doesn't strike me as nearly enough for a guy like him.

Washington wants to tank and no one will give up more without him having bird rights. Let's screw over both teams by making them stand still! horford probably won't resign with Washington so now Washington gets nothing for horford except a shittier draft pick!
