Current: 74 He was increased last Jan 12 but that increase was base from last season. Current Numbers: 7.5 pts, 8.6 rebs, 1.2 asts, 2.3 blks, 61.6% FG, 24.1 mins As a Starting C: 10.2 pts, 12.5 rebs, 1.6 asts, 3.4 blks, 1.1 stls, 61.4% 34.1 mins Advance Stats WS: 6.6 (thats is crazy high!) DWS: 3.0 (tied with Ibaka and AD) PER: 21.8 Want to know more about his defensive acumen, read here bleacherreport.com/articles/2391408-rudy-gobert-absolutely-belongs-in-defensive-player-of-the-year-conversationHe has the highest BLK% in the whole league, that made me believe that he should have the highest BLK rating here in the game. Last point of comparison is the 0-3 feet FG% Gobert - 69.5% P Gasol - 60.6% Ibaka - 69.7% AD - 74.7% So, what I am trying to point out here is that Gobert's number is comparable to those three even though he is playing with less skilled guards and weaker team. His performance for me is 78 but for conservatism's sake, I will go with 77. His BLK should be the highest for the whole league. and the other points should be given to IS.

Anyone else want to sign the I don't watch basketball thread? I don't even care about his rating, I am tanking next year anyway. I just wonder how much you even pay attention to basketball. Comparing Whiteside and gobert is THE comparison to make.We always compare similar players whose ratings just changed... Whiteside is the closest person to Gobert in the league physically, was just rated... a 75. Get this bud, whitesides starting numbers are BETTER than goberts. Whiteside CAREER numbers are better than goberts season numbers. They both emerged at the same time, and neither was due to injury, which is usually the case in talent suddenly exploding. They were both just so goddamn good that the people in front of them got benched/traded. Anyway I'll start the non hypocrite movement here and give gobert an 82. Don't any of you vote higher than you did Whiteside. BTW Whiteside is averaging a double double for his career now, but just continue to do what ya guys do. Gobert (74, my vote 82) Current Numbers: 7.5 pts, 8.6 rebs, 1.2 asts, 2.3 blks, 61.6% FG, 24.1 mins As a Starting C: 10.2 pts, 12.5 rebs, 1.6 asts, 3.4 blks, 1.1 stls, 61.4% 34.1 mins Whiteside (75, my vote 85): CAREER/Current numbers: 10.9 pts, 9.9 rebs, .1 asts, 2.4 blks, 62.6% FG 22.1 Mins As a Starting C: 13.1 pts, 12.3 rebs, .1 asts, 2.2 bls, 60.3% FG, 26.8 minsWell, look at those stats... wonder who is better? Whiteside has better CAREER numbers than Gobert has SEASON numbers... and he just got rerated to a 75. Looks like my votes are more in line than everyone elses, but I'm the one on Whitesides dick? At least I'm consistent about which big man's dick I choose to suck, and its based on how good they actually are.

He was increased last Jan 12 but that increase was base from last season. Disagree completely. His thread was only started on November 17, that's half a month into THIS season, not last season. About half the votes for him happened in February, that's right, like less than a month ago. Chill with the change threads. I would say let's wait until the season is over to have another thread for Rudy. That's only another month and a half or so I think. He got a mid-season update, wait for an end of season update if warranted.

You’re mad annoying on this forum, you’ve just joined and you already have 667 posts. And the majority of them are condescendingly toned calling players “trash” “super shitty” and using fantasy leagues as an argument? Fantasy basketball has little to no relevancy here. And I do watch basketball, thanks for the invitation to sign your “do-not-watch-basketball thread,” but I think I’ll let you run that club. Gobert is a menace in the paint. He’s the reason that the Jazz have the #1 DefRtg, REB%, BLK, OPP FGM, OPP 3PT%, OPP DREB, OPP REB, OPPBLKA, OPP PTS since the All-Star Break. The Jazz have the best record since the all-star break. And yeah, to answer your question that you privately messaged me “why do you hate me” I don’t like you because you are more smugly condescending than almost every single other member in this league and youre one of the league’s 3 newest GMs. And as far as what Walt said about waiting, Im fine with that. Im not up to date with how recently Gobert was changed. If he does get a change, my vote remains 78.

As Magic assistant, I would love for Gobert's rating to go up but I agree there should a time restriction between Stockwatch threads for 1 player. In terms of urgency, there are other players waiting for their 1st update ever. About Gobert-Whiteside comparison, I have seen a lot from both and I can tell Gobert´s defensive numbers translate much more in actual defense than those of Whiteside. Hassan is a capable defender but he lacks defensive discipline meaning that he will not always defend his matchup as he should. Sometimes he does that so if the opponent misses the shot he is free to go for the rebound. When that happens, he might get the rebound but he is hurting his team by letting his opposing center get an easy basket. Against Pelicans for example, he let Ajinca score a career high 24 points with 9-10 fg. With Gobert, you can tell it is a different story. Opponents have afterward nightmares of his crazy long arms. They feel violated.

I love Gobert, but Collins is correct here and James Kay sounds like a crybaby child as usual lol k barber thanks (They're the SAME PERSON, remember ) A rating increase later would be better for him anyway, it'll let him prove himself more as a star in the making for Utah.
