The Memphis Grizzlies have called a Press Conference this evening to welcome Mr. Sam Presti as the new General Manager of the Memphis Grizzlies. I would at this time like to welcome the owner of the Grizzlies Mr. Michael Heisley. Heisley: First of all I would like to thank everyone for coming out this evening. The search for our next general manger wasn't a long one at all. We knew that we had the right guy in this office the whole time. I also want to thank Mr. Jennkis at this time for the work he put in this team. I’m glad to announce at this time that Mr. Sam Presti will become our new general manger. At this time I would like to welcome Mr.Presti to say a few words. Mr. Presti: I will start off by saying thank you to Mr.Heisley, for giving me this opportunity on becoming the general manger of the Grizzles. I will also thank Mr.Jennkis for accepting me in this organization. Also at this time I would like to welcome Mike Budenholzer as the new head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies. Mike comes from the San Antonio Spurs where he was a long time assistant coach. I will also be making a couple of more moves in the near future. We will now open the floor to questions for Mr.Presti, Mr.Heisley, Mr.Budenholzer Thank you.

The Bobcat Report: What are your plans with the Grizzlies? You are in a win now mode, in a rebuilding mode or you like the team that you have and want to build around this team? Is Rudy Gay the centerpiece of your team for now and the future or there's a possibility of trading him?

Off the record what is your assessment of Mr. Jenkins's body of work as gm? Mr.Presti: I will say this about Mr. Jenkin's work as GM here. He made moves some I would of done and then others I thought were out of this world but I'm not going to question his moves. I don't want to live in the past its just time to move forward and hope the best for this team.

This team just won 2 straight games there is hope for this team. I always do look for trades and to make this team the best I can. Everyone on my team is trade-able I look at Gay as a centerpiece but I wouldn't mind trading him if it was good for the team.
