Orlando sends: 76 Rashard Lewis $2,579,324 C Brendan Haywood $9,798,000 $10,522,500 C Daniel Orton $2,200,000 $2,400,000ORL 2015 2nd Total: $14,577,324 Utah sends: 76 Andrea Bargnani $11,500,000 C Jared Cunningham $507,336 C Fab Melo $507,336 C Troy Murphy $1,000,000DET 2017 2nd Total: $13,514,672 This deal works because Utah has $7,676,872 in cap space. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We accept. I'm trimming almost $13,000,000 for this coming free agency period. I do give up that second rounder, which is currently and very well may end up being the thirty first pick in the draft, but I have another second rounder in this year's draft and I don't think it's something that will be terrible for this franchise's future with my junk drawer of young prospects. I had another deal to trim the salaries where I would have had to give up more that I was on the fence about, then my boy S-Bow came in clutch with this and I felt it was clearly the better deal. Shout out to him.

We had a different deal accepted and we had to change it after the 1st one was posted. Can´t say I am very happy about it but the deal still works for us.

Tbh this one is better for both lf us... that detroit pick could be a #1 as well. Youll find someone to take that contract for cheaper than the detroit pick i just gave you... making it actually better for you. its worse for me in the actual trade, but better for me for OSFA

I bet there is a party involved that I wasn´t invited to. Guys, he's on to us. We need to tone down the next party and go a little lighter on the blackjack and hookers. Accept.

im only interested in one fa this offseason im giving a 2017 30-40 2nd for a 2015 #31
its whatever for me. i still have 7 million this offseason which is more than i want to spend on the guy i want. hate on it if you must, but the worst case scenario is the detroit pick is the same value as the orlando pick and i didnt get to sign someone tjis offseason i already wasnt going to sign. i understand why it looks bad though.

what is the point of this for Utah? it seems like he is taking on cap room for nothing now that ive been informed that mirotic is actually a bulls player an not a FA there is loterally no one on the market i want to sign. also the original trade that this was was better for me but i changed it because i wanted the cap space to sign mirotic. now that i know i cant sign him i definitely wouldnt be giving up the deteoit 2nd id just be taking the shannon brown contract instead. ive neen fucked by the system. when did the bulls even draft mirotic? i cant find it. why isnt his "deaft rights" under the team on the league salary database. this is now the 2nd trade ive made this season thinking i was gonna throw the book at mirotic this offseason and now this bullshit has fucked me.

I still don't get it. Regardless of Mirotic being available or not, how is giving up cap room for nothing in return ever a good deal

what are the rules on take backsies for trades? can utah retract the offer after the trade has been posted? Whoever posts the trade automatically agrees to it, even if they don't do an explanation. The other partner in the trade is locked in when he says he accepts it. Adam saying "sure" locked him in.

He was drafted in 2011, one year prior to the league, so Chicago gets his rights... I love Mirotic, it would've been fun to enter (and win haha) the race for him.

Chicago does not get Mirotic's draft rights because the original GM never claimed him. When we began the league there was a period during which GMs could post in a thread (which I can't locate any more) and claim players that their team held the draft rights to. Mirotic was never claimed by Aubrey Graham (former Bulls GM), so he will be added as a free agent whenever Walt Frazier gets around to it - probably this off season at the latest, I'm guessing. Utah cannot back out of this trade unless Blake Bowman also backs out of it. But now that Mirotic will be made available - what's the status of this trade guys?
