Today is a sad day for the Rockets organization, as we hate for it not to work out with any of our players. However, in this case, we are sad to say that our relationship with Josh Childress needs to be ended. He wants more playing time and we just can't give it to him at this time.
Thank you, Mr. Childress for your contributions, and best of luck to you and yours in your future endeavors.

As a member of the league: If you do not add Childress back to the FA list...then it would only be fair that ALL players playing overseas be taken out of the game. You guys can't pick and choose. There are several guys on teams that play overseas. This needs fixed. Or you can just ask Walt who apparently is your Co Commish and has more say than the rest of the league. We need to vote on things like this by league vote! And when we decide it means all players playing out of the NBA. It's not that hard to see what's fair. |

Ridiculous post. 1) Childress is a no factor, 2) Childress is a FA, 3) It takes less time to remove 1 player than multiple, 4) It is better to have half realistic FAs than none... |

I think he should be added back to the list to be consistent. But, I don't know his rating off the top of my head, but he probably could use a decrease into the 60's. |
