Talked to Ian about this but still haven't heard back from him. Will is not on the FA List, but has a released contract in Dallas here. A player of mine in F5 too.
Nevertheless, we would like to offer Will Barton a 2-year contract
Year 1 - $507,336 Year 2 - $1,014,672

Sorry for the lack of reply AI. I'll allow this signing to go through, I guess I forgot to add him back to the FA List.

How did Philly offer a 2 years contract if they are over the cap? Did they have the MLE still?

It's a minimum contract. He can go over the cap.

The maximum amount that a contract can increase or decrease each year is by 11% of the previous year in the contract.
Just checking to see how the rules work. Based on the rule i just mentioned how does the contract offered works (I mean the jump from $507,336 to $1,014,672).

In Off Season Free Agency contracts can increase by a minimum amount equal to the league minimum contract or 11% of the previous year. Thanks to your post (!) I just noticed this rule does not apply to Regular Season Free Agency, so I've made the correct amendment. dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/5/free-agency-regulations?page=1&scrollTo=35950
