Clippers release Kyrylo Fesenko (62) $258,507
Part 2
Clippers send: Mo Williams (78) $8,500,000 $8,500,000 (PO) Randy Foye (77) $4,250,000 LAC 2014 2nd Total: $12,750,000

Part 3
Pacers send: Leandro Barbosa (79) $7,600,000 IND 2014 1st Total: $7,600,000 (*1,25 > $8,100,000)
Bobcats send: Kirk Hinrich (79) $8,100,000 CHA 2012 2nd Total: $8,100,000
I accept. I needed to change some things up. I get a point guard that I can insert into the starting lineup. Hinrich is performing. I also get some more pieces that I think can help my team to more wins. Along with the new players, I also get some picks to help add to my team in the form of rookies.

I accept too
I give away Hinrich and a 2012 2nd rounder to get:
- A true Shooting Guard that can start on my team in Barbosa, he's not better than Hinrich, but i'm brazilian and i really like him.
- A 2014 1st round pick, a 1st rounder is always a 1st rounder
- The Rights of Sofoklis Schortsanitis, the 26 yr-old greek center that plays in Tel-Aviv. His contract expires this year and i think he's going to the NBA, a huge presence inside for my team.
There's no reason for me not to accept it haha

I have two questions:
1. Who is Sofoklis Schortsanitis?
2. Does this mean we can trade for the draft rights of unsigned picks? Because I have some negotiating to do with a certain someone if the answer is yes.

His nickname is Baby Shaq.
I have no idea. It was their part of the deal.

Because I have some negotiating to do with a certain someone if the answer is yes. I don't see why not. There is certainly no rule in the league against it. If Raptors can hold the rights for Jonas Valanciunas I don't see why Clippers could not hold Sofoklis Schortsanitis' rights. If that's the case, draft rights should be available for trade as draft picks. I am just guessing really. Draft rights are not very hard to find: www.shamsports.com/content/pages/data/draft/unsigneddraftpicks.jsp

Horrible example ba, Jonas was a lottery pick which 1st rounders are a guarantee contract whereas second rounder are not. Plus Sofoklis Schortsanitis will never ever play in the NBA. The man is a star in Greece, but although he is baby shaq, he is more of an oliver miller.

Well, Omer Asik was a 2006 2nd rounder, he went to NBA only in 2010 and is now a very important player in the Bulls. He's 25, only 1 year younger then Baby Shaq and he is worst offensively.

Either way, the rights to this player won't make or break this deal for anyone.
I accept. Hill is a quality upgrade for me, Murphy gives me a more balanced bench (instead of all guards) and I save a ton of money next season.

Either way, the rights to this player won't make or break this deal for anyone. Yes. If Sofoklis Schortsanitis' rights cannot be included, Bobcats will accept the deal without him. He was included as a gift from Clippers for helping to get the trade work salary wise. With that said, Bobcats would rather get him. I think Sofoklis Schortsanitis might never come over to the NBA but Bobcats organization is in no position to turn down gifts. ;D Horrible example ba, Jonas was a lottery pick which 1st rounders are a guarantee contract whereas second rounder are not. I agree it wasn't a very good example but the point is we want rights too.

This Greek guy I've never heard of - you can't trade the rights to him. Just as Toronto cannot trade the rights to Jonas.
With that being the case can I also have Lucas Lutkus's re-acceptance before we continue guys?

Maybe, that could be added to the trading rules: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=12Sofoklis Schortsanitis, I miss you already.

I'm not sure I'm allowed to vote... if I am, then I accept Bobcats already accepted the deal without Sofoklis Schortsanitis and everything works salary wise so i don't see why there should be a problem. Clippers still need to release Fesenko in the "Player Release" section but he is probably waiting for the deal to be accepted.

I reject the following part of the trade...
Clippers send: Reggie Evans (71) $1,229,255 LAC 2013 1st Sofoklis Schortsanitis' rights Total: $1,229,255
Pacers send: Kyrylo Fesenko (62) $258,507 Total: $258,507
KYRYLO FESENKO gets a 1st rounder AND a player who is 9 points better than him at a similar position?
For me, every part of the trade has to work, not just the net end result.
Unless Ian informs me to vote on just the entire swap...but I always thought each part of a broken down trade like this needs to work.

The deal is divided into 3 parts only for salary reasons. If we could we would have posted all at once but the deal is still the same.

If it has to be split into 3 parts for salary purposes, then it is 3 different trades.
I reject, as previously explained.

There are not 3 trades here, just 1.
It may have 3 parts to navigate the salary cap requirements but make no mistake, none of these 3 parts happen without the other.
To not consider this because it has 3 parts doesn't make sense to me. I would think you would want to reward the GMs who take the time to negotiate complex, multi-team deals, not make it a negative thing.
If we need to regroup, it can easily be done but I just don't see the need. I think we have 1 reject but that is the only vote so far.

As I said, I'll wait for Ian to tell me how he wants us to vote on these types of trades. I understand the time it takes to put together trades like this, but it's also easy for someone to slip something through sometimes that normally wouldn't fly.
Such as Fesenko garnering a superior player AND a 1st round pick.
I'm perfectly willing to look at the rest/whole of this trade if that's how I'm told to look at it. This is just the way I've always voted on multi-part trades...each part has to work.
