yes his contract will also be removed too

If he plays for an NBA team he will have to be added again, unless Ian takes my idea about just putting certain players that could eventually play again on the IR list or DNP list. Those that have not retired or at least called it quits should not be removed. Special circumstances depending of course.

just throwing this out there but I think it would be a cool idea if the owner of the player was allowed to choose whether they wanted to keep the contract on the books or not
