Averaging 8 and 3 right now as the back up of Jeff Teague, part of the skills challenge (means he got some skills lol)
Current rating: 68 Suggested rating: 75

Love Schroder using my irrational rating privilege on this one.

you need to watch him play. I have seen him play. I'm skeptical of him because of the offense he is in. I'm not denying that Teague, Millsap, and Horford et. al. have skills. But I wonder how much of the system plays into the other guys' stats. Which is why I rated him a 70.

I know this Troy, but I'm not the one who rated them that high. It could be the system, or it could be Schroder's skills. I can't justify, to myself, voting him a 75. I'm sure others will disagree with me, and that's ok. I just am conservative on this. I believe I was conservative on Cory Joseph as well, another "system" back up PG. Its just my opinion on the matter.

75 he really fixed his shot this year from last year. His system hasn't changed from last season he's improved within it (so have many of the players on that team) which is why I think he deserves the increase.

I'm kinda like Brian but not quite as high. I'm gonna go 75 because I only really like him and don't love him haha. His stats might not quite show all of that but he's down good things in some starts and high minute games.
Plus he's crazy fast so we have to factor that in.

72.5 Playing the "Spurs" system is a factor to be considered. But his 3pt% is still less than 30%, yet he's still taking about 2 attempts per game in 18mins of playing time. Other %s are up from his rookie season but stil not good enough for a 7-point or more increase. Rajon Rondo in the making. Pass the ball more and play better defense #AtlantaHype?

If playing the "Spurs system" is the result of him shooting 3s, then why is Cory Joseph, a Spur PG, only attempting 1 per game in more minutes compared to Schroeder? He's not Patty Mills, an Eddie House-like guard too, to shoot those 3s either. It's all about playing through your strengths I guess. And obviously, he cant knock down the 3 yet.

I agree completely AI. Schroder needs to play to his strengths. I think he can be a faster Rondo, but with Teague there, he won't get that opportunity. I think the system he is in is counter productive to his strengths and I think he needs out of ATL. The Bucks could use a pass first PG....get Giannis the ball, and that Parker kid too

I will go with what I see and not about the numbers.
I am quite sure that if given the chance of starting to any of the bottom teams IRL, he will deliver.
Skills is their, physicals is their.
Going with 77.
Increase Physicals, OA, Passing

See what hype does + unbelievable love to the youngbloods do to our league? What's next? A Mike Scott thread to increase him to a 76? Pero Antic to a 75? An Elton Brand and Thabo Sefolosha increase thread?

78, playing well behind Teague, his 3pt% is better more recently, but it's still moving along. Good PER. Solid production. How many are nedded for it to be processed? The number, not the actual change.. I know that's done when there's the time of Walt to do it.

In February, he produced 10.2 pts, 1.8 rebs, 4.8 asts. in 20.5 mins..
IMHO, he really deserves a 77.
