The Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to the following trade:
The Rockets shall receive:
79 Draymond Green $700,000
The Cavaliers shall receive:
68 Damien Inglis $500,00 $600,000 $700,000 HOU 2017 2nd Round Pick HOU 2018 2nd Round Pick
As the GM of the Houston Rockets, I accept. This provides me with some serious front court depth. It is sad for me to give up on Inglis, but right now, he is not contributing to my team. Hopefully, I don't lose Green in FA, but I am more than willing to take that risk and make a move for the ship.

As the GM of the Cavs, I accept. We are not fighting for the championship right now so we are fine of loaning Draymond to the Rockets where he can fight for the crown. But our PF position will still be for him next season and we are ready to give out load of cash. Inglis should be a 1st rounder last draft and his upside is much more higher than a lot of 1st rounders. I cannot believe that I got this much return for Joe Johnson.

Trading Draymond Green now would backfire someday, money is not the only thing players look at. the also need loyalty from the GM.

Trading Draymond Green now would backfire someday, money is not the only thing players look at. the also need loyalty from the GM. It should not be that way but it is because of how the leagues PAs go about making decisions. Many many times in the NBA is a player traded or released for the better intrest of a team. Players understand its a business first. Thats why i traded him. 99% of the time money talks in the NBA. Loyalty should not be a deciding factor in FA. 3Years ago I wanted to see Ducans Value. I put him on the block. Its a business. Duncan went into FA and IRL we all know he will retire a Spur! Then and now. At that time Duncans value was dropping in the league and there were GMs that wanted to drop his rating. Well after it was all said and done the next year we were talking Duncan MVP and Spurs won Title! He went into FA before this and the PA had him sign with the Blazers for about $8 MIL less per year. To another team for way less. IRL he will retire a spur. Reasoning- he took less money to be on a better team, that wanted him. A team that had a better title chance. Because i looked at his value! And the season before FA we had just had the best record in the West and Lost to the WC team that went to the Finals and lost. I feel that was the Worst FA move in this leagues history. It def changed the future of the league. Oh yeah he did finally win a ring last season in Portland. My point is it should not matter but it does. You cant count on anything...and the number 1 factor should always be the money. Ask Bosh, Carmelo...and players like Kobe, Dirk, Timmy D...should never leave. Even for less. Now LBJ...he is not loyal...

I hope that the player agent would model a players loyalty after what they do in real life

As much as I love Inglis, I don't have time to wait around on another developing player. I already have Bruno, Randle is out, Nurkic is blossoming, and Giannis is slowly turning into a crazy athletic freak that we will see at the dunk contest.
Inglis is just a piece of the young talent I have on my team, it is a shame for me to trade him; I truly believe in the kid, it's just I feel like I can make a big run here, and that's what I've got to try to do.
I also knew the Cavs absolutely love the kid, so I know he is in good hands to develop and blossom into a solid player.

Draymond Green could be the Kings' consolation prize for the King!

I actually ask one PA about it and he says that it only matters a little so I pull the trigger. It actually depends upon a player. Just look at Goran Dragic, he was traded to Houston but he had no problem going back to Phoenix. As long as the player understand why the team made the move, their should be no problem at all. And I do believe that Draymond understands it and he will do his best at Houston before coming back to us this summer.
