Indiana Pacers Trade: 84 David West - $10,500,000 - $11,655,000 - $12,937,050 - $14,360,125 77 George Hill - $8,500,000 - $8,171,000 - $7,549,690 - $7,024,224 76 D.J. Augustin - $1,000,000 - $1,000,000(PO) $20,000,000
San Antonio Spurs Trade: 81 Nene - $13,000,000 - $13,000,000 77 Marvin Williams $507,336 76 Rashard Lewis $2,579,324 NOP 2015 2nd CHI 2015 2nd PHI 2015 2nd $16,086,660
$16,086,660 * 1.25 = $20,108,325
I accept. I get a good center for West. This should help make my lineup more traditional, had West a PF starting at center. I had to give up George Hill, but was willing to do that. I get 3 2nd rounders to help build depth before free agency starts. Hopefully I can find a steal with one of the picks. I also get two forwards to help in my playoff push.

You don't know JR, he'll go down with his ship before he quits on it. *shrugs* All I know is in like 6 months, some sorry kid is going to be stuck with a team that has mortgaged its by trading away anyone that could ever be good, and all draft picks they have so they can be the 8th seed in the west in 2015. Though, to be fair, this trade is probably the best one for him I've seen in a little while.. Hill is... someone.

I accept. I dont care who says what...I am doing this for my team, not for you guys. West and NENE are similar, but NENE i would say is more inconsistent. I needed a true backup PG, maybe a starter and Augustin as you can see can play some ball. We saw that last year and now with the Pistons. This allowse to move players around and I get to get rid of Williams who is not in the future plans.

This goes completely against JR's plan of shedding salary for the 2016 offseason. The Spurs once again look like they'll be burdened with huge contracts for the foreseeable future. This time with a hugely overpaid point guard and an aging power forward with a 12 mil a year contract that locks you in until he's 38 years old.

Im very interested what youre going to do with a bunch of 30 year old 77 rated players and no picks in the next 4 years and no cap space, Do tell. Whats the plan?

Hey JR, you know West is going to be drop from a 84 to a 80 right? Just want to make sure you are aware of that.

I did not. And after review I am iffy all together to be honest. Larry is one of my fav GMs here and I want you guys to decide on this trade by fairness and not because of my decisions. I would like for him to accept to cancel our trade if he would do that for me. Larry if you would I would appreciate it. If not its ok bro. Its hard to keep up with all the ratings and changes and info from a cell phone. I did like the list JayZ posted. Maybe the league could have a link to something like that and any current rating change forcoming. I think that would help. My decision is based on that drop and not GMs that need to keep their mouths out of trades. I am and always will be the Spurs GM..till Ian decides not to lace up those shoes:)

You dont have to respect me or like what I do. Its all fun. I have other important shit in life to really worry with. Honestly though I dont see why you have to be in everyones business. I wouldnt do half the shit in the league if it was my money. But i am here to win. If thats 8th in the playoffs every year and a few more ganes great. Of course i want to win it all. Weird shit happens at times in sim. But ill never quit the league and ive been active even when last in the league. I do make mistakes...im far from perfect. But what you or others may think or like can be and i dont care different than my choices. As long as i am active and dont quit and try to win each game..ive got my pride.

I respect you man, I just don't see the logic in some of your decisions from a GM standpoint. This trade is one of those. I imagine GMs talk to each other all the time IRL and give each other opinions and stuff, thats all we're doing here. Maybe I'm just the asshole GM no one likes, I'm sure there are a few of those in real life too.

When JR committed to this trade, he thought David West was an 84. Trading for an 84 is different than trading for an 80, you treat them differently.
With him not being aware that he was an 80, I would like to cancel my side of the trade.
I know this is the second trade recently where this has happened, but I want to be fair to everyone involved.
