Current: 90
2013-2014: 21.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.9 steals 43.7 % FG 2014-2015: 26.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 2.3 steals 43.5% FG
Advance Stats: Per: 24.7 to 28.7 WS: 5.4 Assisted Shot: 22.1 % This only show that he is one of the best in creating his own shot.
I am torn of what rating to suggest because KD is not healthy this year putting the baggage to him more. But, IMHO, he really needs an increase.
I will go with 92

He is(I believe)...
7Th in Assists Top 3 in steals and PPG.
I dont care that he hasnt had Durant. I personally think he is the best PG in the league.
I think we need to look into the player ratings and pick the best PG to C in the league...and then increase their ratings. Then from there we can adjust all other player ratings. We have to have a standard and to me we shoukd rank all PGs and compare to the best of them in Westbrook!

Currys team is having a great year. I knew he was solid years ago. Will he be considered one of the best in a se a season or two when GS is not contending and his numbers drop?
I rank them..with ratings: Westbrook 96 Paul 94 Curry 92
Of course i could put them 96-94 but they need seperatation.

Anthony Davis is a Great young player but until his team makes the playoffs he will be no more than a Kevin Love prototype. Yes KL has shown us now that he cant play on a playoff team with two other stars. But even though I believe Davis is legit until he does something he is unknown. Unknown as much as Rose thus season! I think he is a 90 rated player as of right now, but Westbrook, Curry and Paul are better and i sincerely hope Davis keeps his desire to be the best if NO management takes forever forming a playoff team.

I dunno about Westbrook. He's shown he can put up huge stats with Durant out, but not really shown he's a leader or legit franchise guy. OKC is 7-6 with Westrook but without Durant. He's also not efficient and his huge scoring numbers are due a lot to volume shooting. He shoots 43.5% overall, 27.8% from three and 82.1% from the line. None of those three number are very impressive. I'm a lot more impressed by his career high rebounding and steals.
I think both Curry and Paul are better point guards, and I've just never been a big fan of Westbrook, I'll go with a 91 though.

Kevin love is also one of the biggest defensive liabilities in the league at his position, and anthony davis leads the league in blocks. What are their %'s by the way too, lol. try again bro. anyway, this is a westbrook thread.

Or are you delusional because Davis has way better teammates (besides the injured Durant obv) and a coach of similar ineptitude

Also, every major sports analyst site has AD as #3 in the MVP conversation behind Curry and Harden and say he would deserve major consideration if the Pelicans made the playoffs. Also, his highest-PER-ever stat he is sporting right now is nothing to sneeze at. When AD was out this year the Pelicans lost to the 76ers and the Knicks *facepalm*.

94, but I think him and Curry are the best PGs in the game. I am sorry but I am sooooooo sick of CP3's shitty attitude and ego. CP3 was the best PG in the league the past two seasons. It's just no longer true. He is still up there but he's no longer clearly on top. I think much of Westbrooks ovr is in athleticism probably so it's not hard to make him the same OVR as Curry just with different strengths.

Be careful. One is a streaky shooter, one is a crazy super freak Randy Moss type PG, the other is the epitome of a floor general.

One of them plays defense. And that one should be rated the highest, and that one isnt the subject of this thread.

This season him and Anthony Davis have started to be put in the same discussion as Lebron and Durant.

We're getting ahead of ourselves with Westbrook. What he's doing is pretty amazing but it hasn't translated into any success. OKC is 11-13 when Westbrook has 20 or more field goal attempts and 2-6 when he has more than 30. When Westbrook has less than 20 attempts OKC is 18-5.
Also that's not just a product of Durant being injured. In games they both played in Westbrook had 20+ attempts in 9 games. OKC's record is 4-5 in those games.
Westbrook is playing hero ball. His usage rate for the season is 38.4%, and I'd imagine it's close to 50% in games without Durant. What he's doing is extremely impressive when you look at the boxscore, but it's not exactly helping his team. Westbrook does not deserve a rating in the mid 90s. All we'll end up doing is lowering him back down once both him and Durant are playing 100% healthy again. Let's take the big picture view on this one.
It's also interesting comparing this thread to Harden when he just got a 90. I'd take him over Westbrook in a second. He's a lot more efficient and he's actually leading his team to success. With Dwight Howard out no less.

It doesnt magically make him a 95 just because the numbers are high... the efficiency isnt there. RW's career night? It came against the 76ers... in overtime. They almost lost to the Sixers.
