He has so many holes in his game and even his main selling point of shooting is not clicking at this point.

I'm gonna stand strong with my stance that we should wait until the end of this season to change Rookies. That doesn't mean I don't think he deserves a decrease, but I just think it's safest overall to wait for all rookies until after the season is through.

Come on Walt, its time to soften up that stance. 3 months have already passed, IMO, this is the fairest time to adjust the ratings for a lot of the rookies. Another thing, I think you are on the cusp of putting the changes to the others already so this should be the most convenient time for the rookies to have there adjustments. Coz if we will be waiting for the season end IRL, which is around June, you RCs will accumulate a lot of works again. Peace.

It's just really best to give a full season to see what these guys have. You were all ready to put Wiggins at a 76-77 and now over the last month he has deserved higher than his current 80. I'm not calling for an increase there either. Let's finish his rookie season and see how they all continue to adjust, or how the league adjusts to them. It's not like hardly any of them are high enough in rating to be anything other than bench players for most teams anyway.

I think this is stupid as fuck, and my vote is to keep him the same.

77 feels high at this point. In sure he'd look better with more consistent minutes but I'll go about a 73 or 74

The only thing Whiteside gets a 95 in is being an asshole.

Voted a 95 coz some troll voted a 45 earlier then deleted it. That's why there's a "then" there.

71. Other than his new cool nickname there is nothing special about him right now. 77 just seems too high for him at the moment.

There are several players that we rated low because we agreed that we needed more time to see if they could keep their level over time. With rookies, we did exactly the opposite and I feel like that is not fair because we are comparing players who actually did something in the nba to players who did almost nothing. Exum is an extreme case but I mentioning Stauskas because he is in the playoffs.
I agree that it is too much work to re-adjust rookies after a couple of months but I think that at least, rookies jumping to the playoffs should get their ratings fixed.
Some people mentioned rookies should be rated lower in the 1st place but that is a different story.

Changing my vote from 95 to 71 That is a noble attitude and I am not talking about Ian.

All 2014 rookies are in discussion in the RC. Just wanted to say that. We are figuring out how to proceed. But keep up the threads, your guys opinion is vital. We can't watch every player. And some people have different favorite teams.
But I just wanted to mention that. That we are actively discussing the rookies in the RC. I think we even did a mock up of a few of them but never put them in game. The plan is to put them all in at once this off-season.
It is difficult for us, because a lot of guys didn't play. So we don't know if they really can't shoot or whatever. Slick Nik did play though, so it isn't in reference to him. But a lot of dudes got small minutes and we are trying to figure out how to proceed!!!

Voting for end of season rookie votes he's a 69 in my book. I say his peak is basically J.J. Reddick.
The only positive I can see from his game is that his 2p % was actually higher than I expected it to be at 40%. His 3 point shot wasn't falling due to a combination of not having enough threats on the Kings to pull some pressure off him/being not being athletic enough to get separation/not having a real PG able to work the offense to allow him to be successful.
The Sacramento Kings, where careers go to die.
