That's tough... Bobcats lose to the Knicks by 35
Back in Charlotte after two great games on the road, the Bobcats expect to pull out a winning streak for the first time in this season against the strong New York Knicks, but that didn't happened...
In a complete blowout that included the Knicks scoring 43 points in the 2nd corner, the Knicks defeated the Bobcats by 116-81.
The Bobcats have now a 3-8 record and Bogues didn't had words to explain:
'They just finished us... CP3 and D12 are just too much for almost any NBA team, that wasn't our night.'
Thanks Cap: It was quick, but Kirk Hinrich is going to leave good memories here in Charlotte
Last night the Charlotte Bobcats have negotiated a 3-team deal that sent Kirk Hinrich and a 2012 2nd round pick in exchange for Leandro Barbosa and a 2014 1st rounder.
Hinrich was one of the key players in the Bobcats team so far, showing a great perimeter defense and excellent playmaking and shoot skills.
Now Kirk is gone, but it's not like the door is closed for him here:
'He's a Free Agent next year, of course we're going to try to get him back, we really liked his time here and having him again in the next season to help us would be great.' Said the team's owner, Michael Jordan.
'Leandrinho' arrives, meets brazilian GM Lucas Lutkus
Kirk goes to Indiana and Barbosa comes to Charlotte, one of the happiest men to have Barbosa on his team was the brazilian Bobcats GM, Lucas Lutkus:
'Well, he's brazilian, he likes soccer and he cheers for Corinthians, it's going to be a good friend and someone to help me here in Charlotte. Of course i'm going to miss Kirk, one of the most important players in our team, but i think that Barbosa is going to help us so much, he's extremely athletic, very agressive and incredibly quick, he has everything to help Kemba Walker to develop here in Charlotte.'
