Current: 69
Current Numbers TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS 6.1 0.4 0.5 1.6 0.9 3.1 6.2
As Starting C 7.5 pts 7.8 rebs 2.4 blks
My suggestion: 74
Increase his Blocking, FG, Physicals, DA
He is becoming a really good defensive center.

72. Not a big enough sample size. Will adjust if he keeps it up.

I don't see how anyone can think someone like Plumlee is better than him.

73, he's better than 69 but he has a long way to go.

74 I don't see how anyone can think someone like Plumlee is better than him. I'm going to assume you're talking about Miles Plumlee.

Less turnovers... more blocks... 25% better FT%?
I'll take that over 4 ppg any day.
And no, I mean Mason.

The stats are almost exactly the same, and Len is like the 8th option on the Suns, and Plumlee is apparently "sixth man of the year".

That doesn't tell the whole story. Plumlee had a poor start to the season and his percentages are down a lot from last year (65.9 FG% and 62.6 FT%). Also look at their numbers as starters. Plumlee (26 starts): 28.8 mpg, 14.1 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.1 apg, 1.2 bpg, 1.0 spg, 66.1 FG%, 54.1 FT% Len (20 starts): 23.2 mpg, 7.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 0.5 apg, 2.4 bpg, 0.6 spg, 58.3 FG%, 68.6 FT% Plumlee doing that for the whole season is worthy of an 80+ rating. I do think Len has more potential though. Plumlee has no mid range game and is a much worse shot blocker, but he has a much bigger sample size of his performance since Len looked like a bust last season.

Again, I literally see the about the same player (I rated them both a 74), with Plumlee shooting better and Len having monstrous blocking...
I don't think every starting C in the league that isn't god awful should be an 80. If you're starting for the first time, and you're showing promise, 70-75 is where you should be. At the end of the season, if Plumlee's and Len's stats still look like that and they are still starting 78ish. The same should go with Whiteside, or Speights. Dieng is producing about the same (actually better in %'s and rebounds), but looks so much more special, I can see giving him an extra point or two.

I like the cut of his jib. Ah. I'll be sure to use that next time I make an argument for changing someone's rating.

I mean the stats put people in a range, but then you can eye test +- 1-2 points... I just think dieng looks better. not a good argument for a huge discrepency, but for a point or two within the rotational player range, its good enough. its also why we vote and have multiple opinions.

Really think he is overrated. I put him 1 point less than Nurkic, who I think is accurately rated and plays the same role and minutes. I'd rather have Nurkic than Len, thats way its 73 for Nurkic and 72 for Len.
