Current Rating: 87
Suggested Rating: 83
Stats: 31.4 mpg, 9.2 ppg, 9.4 apg, 6.6 rpg, 1.6 spg, 0.1 bpg, 40.5 FG%, 31.0 3P%, 30.2 FT%
Does anyone really consider Rondo to be an elite point guard anymore? His defense and rebounding is still good, and his playmaking remains at a high level, but his shooting is atrocious. The guy actually shoots 30% from the free throw line. That's not a typo. I know that's abnormal but his career mark is still just 61%. He can't shoot the basketball and has never been able to. I don't even consider him to be a top 10 point guard.
Edit: I change my vote to an 81. He's only gotten worse as the season goes on with him in Dallas.

Still really good Passer and since he's come over mavs are 7th in offensive rating and 8th in defensive rating, way up from where they were before. 86

He is a unique player.
You should really decrease his scoring skills.

As it stands, I'm not against a hit on FG/3PT - what I don't get however, is why people are so willing to wait on Stephenson yet are so eager to give Rondo a hit. Pretty similar players in the way that they're do-everything guards struggling with their shot on new teams.
Think he should hold on to his 87 for a while longer, see how he plays out in Dallas.

Well one has an 87 rating and the other an 81, so they're on very different standards. But also you can't say Rondo's issues come from being traded to Dallas. Rondo has never had the ability to shoot. Since the big 3 have left Boston it's become very obvious that Rondo isn't capable of stepping up and leading a team. He's only a supporting player.

But def a starting PG and a great addition to Dallas. He does not have to be a scorer. He needs to get players involved and when he may at his best he is aggresive driving to the basket. Thats when he is at his best. I have not seen all but one game with Dallas but i dont see a need for a decrease yet until we see what he does come playoff time. The half court game at that time with the players around him show us what rating he should be at and if he is still that good.

I'm not trying to get him down into the 70s or something, he will still have a solid rating.

Needs a decrease bad...
I say he's no better than 80. Jeremy Lin plays better...
That's pretty bad!

83 with chance to go lower. He does a bit of everything but he can´t shoot and that is really bad for a guard.

Honestly, he's a bad fit for Dallas, so that definitely sucks for his game. I'd say like, an 81, give or take a point. He's not terrible (Imo), but he's not an 87.

He was really good in Boston earlier except for his %s. the guy was literally a walking triple double averaging like 8-10-9. hes just not good in dallas. he will be somewhere else next year. i stand by my 82

Changed my rating halfway through the season and playing with Dallas..82
Really hoped his game would come back to him after returning from his injury. Some of these guys come back soft and scared. I really want to say 80 but Ill give him an 82 for now...

I feel like he's just having a shitty time this season. He went from a pretty-much tanking Celtics squad to the Mavs, where he's yet to fit in. Too early to decrease him yet.

Since it's your league and you make all final decisions... Even If we have enough gms voting he won't get decreased until much later? Just like the decision to post attributes... Just like your team finally doing well and the Spurs playing like shit as of late even more so because you have our #1 pick. Shit needs to get done and you need to stop holding the league back bro. Rondo needs decreased.....

Why not conjure metaphors to Greek myths and insinuate I'm a demon of the underworld?

Rondo's never been that good. He lucked out being able to play with three Hall of Famers where his complete lack of an offensive game didn't matter. Now that those days are over we're seeing what Rondo is actually capable of. He's an average starting point guard at best.

Rondo was quick, smart and fearless before his injury. In those 2012 ECF he went toe to toe with lbj, carrying the celtics even with a worse supporting cast than LeBron. Rondo hasn't been the same since the acl and u reflected that in my vote but no need to rewrite history here. Rondo was unquestionally a top 3 PG in his prime with cp3 and Tony Parker.
