@hanamichi
He's going to be really good and I'm going to be really pissed like next year. No one has saved me from anything, just fucked me, really.

Good to see the bidding didn't actually get too out-of-hand. Nice one guys.
Hassan signs with BKN.

Good to see the bidding didn't actually get too out-of-hand. Nice one guys. Hassan signs with BKN. Got him confused...thought we removed him from the game before? Our rules would say he gets added to the game but not until the offseason, so no one could bid on him this season. But, I may have confused him with someone else.

I didn't think we had a rule stating that "newly added players must only be added in the off season", do we? I should've cleared it with you first actually. I just saw Hassan on the database and figured why not add him to the list.

But, at least in the RC, our plan and thought has been that it is way more fair to everyone to not add new players in-season, and that we should probably wait for the off season so everyone had the same opportunity to plan for these new guys. I get that Whiteside used to be in the game and he is already created and in the database, just seemed like he would have followed the same process we were thinking of implementing for other new players.

I never really agreed that players should only be added in the off season, but I'm happy to follow you guys lead on that one.

Imagine Jeremy Lin happens again. We get motivated, create him, and the one team who has cap gets him. Maybe in the offseason, Lin would go to a different team with a Player Agent. Speaking of, going a different route, Whiteside looks like he will be a 70+. He probably should have had a PA help him get to the right place with reasonable money. Anyway, your call mate.

For Hassan it's too late but i see the point you're making with the Jeremy Lin example - it punishes teams with a plan?

Is that what you are saying? Possibly the bigger "issue" here is that someone who generated this much interest should probably have a PA.
