82. Chandler has been the anchor of the Mavericks this season, maybe their best player. But, as others have pointed out... he is who we thought he is THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE, AND WE LET EM OFF THE HOOK. If anything, these threads are about adjusting attributes. So Chandler comes up in Stock Watch, and we go in and take a look at him. For all we know, and for all I know since I haven't looked at him, his attributes could be all screwed up. At the very least, this thread gives us the chance to go in and dive into his stats, make his strengths reflect what he does in real life. And the same goes for his weaknesses. And I think Chandler is having a great year due to the offensive, and defensive, scheme of the Mavs. But I would not put him in the same conversation as Boogie. If we had a fantasy draft right now (which would be really cool to try to have for D6 if F5 falls apart) I think Boogie would be a top 5 pick.

And if we had a fantasy draft right now, Chandler would be the 4th-5th center taken. Thats how I usually think about these threads. I think about the persons fantasy value, go look up their fantasy value, then adjust their rating up or down by about 2 points depending on how their non-stat sheet game holds up.
Chandler is the 3rd best center for fantasy in 2015, a lot of that has to do with his monster fg% 73% is just insane, people. But then he is a great defensively and make smart passes, and doesn't turn the ball over a lot, and that doesnt reflect in the stat sheet as much, so I raise him up a couple points. 85 seems about right for me. This is clearly as high as he will ever be rated, if he continues this play well into next year I wouldn't raise his rating, i'm considering this to be his ceiling right now, and think he should be rated as such. I'm considering that I believe he has been the most consistent center in the league this year (except maybe boogie), and that should reflect in his rating. Like if chandler sustained this level of play for a couple years, you'd guy raise him to an 85, he doesn't get a lot of scoring opportunity on this Mavs team, because well, it'd just be retarded to give Tyson Chandler the shot for 10 possesion of a game when you have the other players you have around him. Doesn't mean his game sucks.

If you think Chandler would be a top five center drafted, you are incredibly mistaken.

Doesn't mean his game sucks. Honestly shut the fuck up already about Tyson fucking Chandler. First of all he doesn’t have a FG% of 73% you’re straight up pulling that out of your ass, it’s 68% which is still really "high, but they’re all assisted dunks. It’s not that “he doesn’t get the opportunity”, he is just incapable of putting the ball in the basket by himself. This is from a Knicks fan who saw Tyson at his peak when we had that one great season (lol)….. And Tyson would NOT be the 4-5th Center taken in a fantast draft. I would take Gasol, Cousins, Vucevic, Horford, Howard, Al Jeff, and Noah, hell even Brook Lopez over him for their performance RIGHT NOW, and I would probably take DeAndre, Drummond, Gortat, and even Hibbert ahead of him going forward, not to mention risks that could be reasonable to pick ahead of Chandler like Gobert, Henson, Sanders, Dieng, Valancunias, Plumlee if you were really trying to build for the future. Pull your head out of your ass and give a proper rating. I didn’t go under like some people to try and balance your rating, but maybe I should. 81-82 is perfectly fine for Chandler.

His FG% is off the charts, though, Ok, but you know this can't be compared to someone like Al Jefferson or DeMarcus Cousins right? Chandler only has 6 shot attempts per game, and 5 of them are dunks, layups, or put backs.

I mean in a fantasy redraft league, tyson chandler would be a top 5 center taken... I might be the guy to do it, but I'd do it. He's ranked #3 in fantasy 9 cat

You have to take into account how you want to build your team, the contracts that the players have, their age (since you could have them a long time), etc. He may be a top 5 center in fantasy leagues right now, like ESPN and shit, but in a fantasy sim draft, Chandler isn't even a first, or maybe a 2nd, round pick.

The Chandlers are my homeboys. But Tyson IS having a ridiculously great year and it should reflect in his ratings. 88 is high, I meant 85. Twas a bit high when I said he was just as good as cousins. His FG% is off the charts, though, and his defensive presence is ridiculous. He definitely isnt <85. Chandler is having a ridiculous year compared to other really good but not astounding years. He's a defensive dude, a real good one but let's not get ridiculous. He's at the level he was at when the Mavs won the title. Pretty sure this is his same OVR he was at then.

83,5. Great defensive player with good shooting %s for a center. I wouldn´t give him a 84 though because I believe a 83 would be enough to put his ratings in order.
