JR is right about the new GM rule to the letter of the law. But we've got a pile of trades queued already, what's another one matter? Ian will probably need to take the day off just to process all the trades.
This is a really good deal for Utah though. Evans and Carter-Williams are the only players with any real value on the Nets. I think Evans is worth more than Lance, and I think that 2nd is worth more than Smith. But Josh obviously really wants these guys. I accept.

Evans contract is crazy long, and he is a bit unstable in New Orleans, believe it or not. I think when NO takes the next step to start making the playoffs, and winning playoff series, Tyreke won't be a part of that picture. Theres a lot of uncertainty there. Lance is on a shorter contract. It's risky both ways.

Thanks JR, this is a good point. I say we vote on this deal and wait 10 days to pass it. If Adam Collins then tries to trade Jabari Parker we will have to really put our thinking caps on. |
