We all want the rating changes to process faster. But we need people to vote. We have decided to close certain threads in about a week. Those threads will then be processed into the changes and in one end and out the other on the LSD and in game.
Please vote on the threads. Do your due diligence first, don't just wildly vote on players. But the more votes we have, the more accurate the ratings will be, the more accurate the ratings, the more accurate the game.
The rating system thrives off of the votes we receiver from you guys, the community. Not voting about a player's rating, and then complaining about the rating, is a no-no.
To sum it up, we need more votes. Some threads, those that have enough votes, will close, and we will implement those changes. Then, say those guys pick it back up and start being good, or bad, again, we will make new threads and have more votes.
PLEASE VOTE MORE. youTube players you are not familiar with and find a scouting report.

What is the minimum number of votes for a rating change to be official?

Should set something up where there is like a 10 vote rating kicker. After 10 votes, the process begins to switch a players rating. Once the 10 votes are received, the committee marks the post to let others know the rating change process has begun. After the post is marked, then there is a week buffer period where others who have not voted can still place there vote before the final change. After the week "buffer" period, all ratings are accounted for and the committee makes the final changes. If a GM did not vote, then it is too bad for them for being inactive, unless they have a qualifying reason that the committee deems acceptable.
This is just an idea on to make the process faster.

We are discussing this, currently, we thought 8 votes or more and we just process the change. But I like the warning/buffer period. Good thinking.
