Not having a good year thus far. Definitely isn't playing like a player who deserves an 86 rating.
Not even averaging a double double.
8.2/9.8/3.8/1.6/0.8 PTS/RBS/AST/BLK/STL
on 44.8% shooting and a career low 61.3% from the line.
His defense is still good and his passing is above average, but those increases we made to his offensive game need to be taken back now, as he isn't the same player as he was last season. And this is exactly why we have the RC, to have a free-flowing rating system, so that when one player falters, he his decreased and he can be increased just as easily.
My suggested rating is an 81.

Can you see the thread where we actually do the ratings, and talk over what needs to be increased and decreased? If not, then don't comment on what we are or aren't doing.

I do not mean to say that you are not working on it what I mean is that the rating system is still not a free flowing system where ratings are change immediately.

Whether it's a lot or a little, you simply don't know. So don't talk as if you do, please. #2 - Pissing off the RC is probably not the proper way to go about making it happen. Thanks B-)

I do not mean to say that you are not working on it what I mean is that the rating system is still not a free flowing system where ratings are change immediately. It's never going to be immediate. Never. Unless someone wants to donate like 40k a year to me, then I'll sit on here for hours a day and just process rating changes. Otherwise, be happy that it's actually a far better process than it was in the past. With 3-5 of us working on it now, things are better.

I do not mean to say that you are not working on it what I mean is that the rating system is still not a free flowing system where ratings are change immediately. And I don't shit gold. It won't ever be changed immediately because people need ample time to vote on the threads, and we can't make a new rating based off of just 20 games. How it works now is about as quickly as it is going to work, unless we decide to put a time limit on how long the threads are open, which is something we are discussing at this moment.

I will go with an 84. I still think Noah is one of the best centers in the game. Minimal decrease should be due to a bad year.

We really can always pop him back up next year or even late this year if he turns it around.
81 feels too low for me though.

I don't think he ever deserved an 86. He just doesn't fill up the box score enough. He's a great defender and a good rebounder. But his shot is ugly as balls. The ball actually spins sideways when he shoots it.
82 from me.

Also, why are you guys going after Pinoy so much? On a scale of how quickly things move, I'd put rating changes pretty damn low on the list. Something like
Rocket Airplane Usain Bolt . . . Turtle Rating changes Snail Glacier
Yes, there are legitimate reasons for why it moves at the pace it does, but lets not act like it isn't slow as shit.

Don't worry about it Pinoy, fuck Charles...he's just Barkley! I think maybe an 84 or an 85 for Noah. Keep in mind, him and Pau both are backed up by a REALLY good player in Taji Gibson.

Do we still need more votes for this thread to close?

83. His fg attempts here in D5 are insanely higher than it is in real life. Maybe just focus his stats highly on defense, rebounding, and passing coz that's the type of player he really is.

Do we still need more votes for this thread to close? I don't think Noah will be in the next round of rating changes, so there is still time to vote. There's no set time limit on how long a SW thread is open or the amount of votes we need. We have been trying to get 8-10 votes per player, and if you see me or Walt, or Alex ask for more votes it is because we are in the midst of processing the rating change. If one of us comes in and announces the thread is closed, that means we have processed the rating change and would like all new arguments to be made in a new thread to avoid confusion.
