Dipo's current rating is a 76, I think that that is pretty low compared to other young SGs in the league. He is performing exceptionally well and has the ability to get to the rim at will.
Player 1: 15.2/3.0/3.6/14.29 Thats PPG/APG/RPG/PER Player 2: 14.9/3.9/3.7/14.96
Their percentages:
Player 1: 42.6/46.7/82.6 FG/3PT/FT Player 2: 45.9/40.0/77.9
Player 1 is Bradley Beal, currently rated an 80. Player 2 is Dipo, while Oladipo doesn't have the absurdly great 3PT shooting percentage, he does have a good 3PT percentage. And he is a much better defender that Beal is.
Suggested rating: 81

He hasn't earned an 80+ yet imo. I think Orlando has a lot of good pieces and they should be a good team in a few years. I'll say a 78-79 for Oladipo.

Because people overrated him? I just looked back at the thread: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/3891/bradley-bealI gave him a 79.

I don't think he deserves and 80+ either. I go with a 78. Once again, it also has to do with the shitty team he plays on that give him those numbers.

To me, they are the same player when you account for Dipo's defense and Beal's marginally better 3PT%

Agree on Beal being overrated a smidge, but he's an above average rebounder for the SG position and isn't garbage on defense so I can see how those things inflate his rating a bit.
Dipo gets a 78 from me.

Kyrie was on a shitty team and he got an 80+, same with Love. Lots of good players play on shitty teams. The team in Orlando has a lot of quality players on it. Toby, Nikola, Dipo, Elf, Fournier, and I didn't even mention their first pick Gordon. They have good players. They are just a few years away. Same with Milwaukee. This he's just puttin up numbers bc hes on a shitty team theory is dumb. If it were true, why is Love an 89.

Check his ratings see if anything needs shifted around if so do that then add something to get his OVR to whatever people vote him to.

That shouldn't matter. That would mean I could draft fucking Joe Harris first and expect his rating to be an 80.

And to say Dipo is even close to Kyrie in potential is a joke in itself.

Its threads like these that make me have to have the signature that I have If Dipos stats only get him to a 76 for you, Barber, I think LeBron should only be a 91. You're so low on everyone, your vote literally is the one that never counts haha.

I change my rating to a 79, he's a good starter level player. Not much more than that at this point in his career.

OK, gotta say he's been turning it on lately!
January Stats - 20.6pts / 3.9reb / 3.6ast / 1.8stl shooting 45.8% FG and 82.7% FT. 31.4% from 3, needs work there, but he's scoring 20+ ppg and contributing pretty well a few other places on a decently efficient FG and FT%. He did shoot 44% from 3 in December and 47.4% from the field in that month. He's trending up, that's all. A couple people may want to reconsider their votes, but maybe not. Maybe he just needs to prove it longer for some. I love the 20 ppg though on solid %'s!
Anyway, also going to post the "thread closing" thing here, just wanted to update a little on his last month or two and the improvements he's had.

He's great, but he's playing more minutes now with what his natural position really is, that's why he's playing better. Simple as that IMO.
