Current Rating: 68
Suggested Rating: 75-76 range
Cory has quietly been putting together a really nice season over in San Antonio this year. His playing time has basically doubled from last season and so has his production. Cory has improved in almost every single statistical category every year he has been in the league. He has continually gotten better each season he has been in the league and it's only fair his rating reflect his improvement. Also currently has a 3 to 1 assist/turnover ratio which is about where you want a PG ideally
His numbers from this season so far in only 25 mpg:
9.9 ppg - 3.3 rpg - 3.0 apg/1.1 tpg
FG 52.2% - 3FG 36.7% - FT 73.9%
11.3 PER
Thoughts?

No, he's another Spurs system guy who should not be rated higher than a 72.

74 for me. Think a lot has to do with the players around him, but there is skill there.

Here is his performance when he starts.
12.8 pts 4.5 rebs 3.6 asts 1.6 T.O. 34.8 mins 54.3% FG
let us compare that to T. Parker.
16.2 pts 1.7 rebs. 5.2 asts 2.6 T.O. 31 mins 51.5% FG
Those two players are playing in the same team and it clearly shows that Joseph leads rebs, T.O. and FG%. They are pretty similar player as they are more of slashers than shooters. I also know that he is still not proven that he can keep those numbers through out the season.
So, I am going with 78. Bulk of it should be on OA, FG and Rebs.

72 until we see more. no player playing in relief should be higher than 72 with just some good spot starts

Ive watched him maybe 3-4 times, he was alright. i own him in one of my dynasty fantasy leagues and his stats are waiver wire trash worthy. rotational men should have a higher ratings but if they normally don't see any minutes unless starters are out they shouldn't be rated that high. there is no way Cory Joseph should be rated higher than Solomon hill for instance.

Why exactly should Hill be rated higher than Joseph? 6'7 Solomon Hill: 31.8 mpg - 10.1 ppg - 4.5 rpg - 2.3 apg - 1.0 spg - 0.3 bpg - 38% FG - 80% FT - 29% 3FG - 7.3% PIE 6'3 Cory Joseph: 24.9 mpg - 9.5 ppg - 3.0 rpg - 3.1 apg - 0.8 spg - 0.3 bpg - 51% FG - 72% FT - 32% 3FG - 11% PIE

they should be about the same. i've played a lot of basketball video games though and I know that the ratings for the individual attributes are the most important not really the overall. ideally you would go and read them according to their stats and then the overall would just be whatever it ended up being

I just dont get how some people rate players in this league. Here is 1 example
Cory Joseph: Current Rating: 68 24.9 mpg - 9.5 ppg - 3.0 rpg - 3.1 apg - 0.8 spg - 0.3 bpg - 51% FG - 72% FT - 32% 3FG - 11% PIE
Mario Chalmers: Current Rating: 79 30.6 mpg - 10.6 ppg - 2.6 rpg - 4.3 apg - 1.6 spg - 0.1 bpg - 39% FG - 79% FT - 27% 3FG - 7.9% PIE
I just feel like Im taking crazy pills sometimes when I see how people rate certain players.

Mario chalmers should be rated much lower. Have we had a thread for him lately? He's been trash all year, I traded him for Shabazz Muhammad in a dynasty fantasy league and haven't looked back. Chalmer is about a 73 imo.
