His rating probably just needs shifted around just like they did with the rookies.

I think he's definitely better than a 71 though.

if Wiggins is already 81, I go with 80 I knew these rookie ratings were gonna cause an issue.

I'm changing my vote, and bumping this thread, because the dude is shooting 50% from the field, grabbing 6 boards, a steal, a block, 2 assists, and 12 points a game, and he has those moments where you just say WOW. Like gyro-steppin from the 3 point line.
12 and 6 for a SF and 50% shooting needs to be accounted for

Still pretty raw offensively. Has no jumpshot at this point and most of his points scored are on the drive. He makes spectacular plays on offense and defense that really show you his potential is great. George Karl even mentioned last week that he reminded him of a longer Scottie Pippen.
If he continues to improve and finds a jump shot, his rating will be increased pretty rapidly.

Just been looking into Giannis a bit more recently. I still think I want to see this out of him for a longer time before I match that 79 but I'm going to go up to a 77.5!
EDIT on 3/6/15:
So, love his 49.4% from the field (though he is taking just about 9 shots a game so he's not a big factor scoring yet) 3pt% is way down but, he isn't shooting them hardly at all, which shows O-Awareness increase somewhat. FT% is up to 74%...which is just OK, probably slightly below avg, but, it's OK.
Everything else is good for 30mpg from a SG/SF - almost 7 rebounds, 2.5 assists (though, 2.2 TO's shows he needs work there). Bread and butter comes out with 1.0 SPG and 1.0 BPG.
My previous 77.5 is too low. I'm going to bump up again, but, I think he's going to need to increase his scoring and/or 3pt to ever get much more from me. I'm gonna go 79 for now. If he does exactly this next year, you could maybe get 1, possibly 2 more points out of me, but for now I can't go above 79 yet.
79.

Definitely should not be an 80.. yet. He has great potential and is playing a lot better this year. I will go with a 78.

Giannis has been raised to a 77 recently.
Start a new thread towards the end of the season please.
