Yeah, but is he really good enough in other things? I say 78.

Elite Defense, this year he's an elite 3pt shooter. Extremely good rebounder for a guard. Then again his FT has dipped to 68"% this year after being 81+ the last two years? He's a bit of an enigma. For whatever reasons I think the FT is an anomaly and the rest is development of a nice young player.
79 for me.

To call him an elite defender seems a bit much. I don't watch much Rockets' basketball, but how does he do against the elite PGs in the league, like Paul, Lillard, Wall, etc. I get that no one can guard Westbrook. Does Bev even guard the top guard on the opposing team? Or is that Harden's responsibility.

I watched a few Rockets games and he shutdown guys like Paul and Irving. He's a great man to man defender.

He can really really defend but I am not sure about his offense, 78.

He pretty much made a name for himself in the playoffs two years ago with his defense, didn't he? I forget who he was guarding but it was a top guard I believe

If enough people say he is elite on here, I'll just go with it. I gave him a 78 which is where I think he is at. He could probably be higher with the way some PGs are rated, but those ratings are inflated a bit.

His advance stats is not showing that he is an elite defender but his offensive game is actually pretty good and analysts see him as a great defender, so 78

78 for now. Great defender with a decent 3pt shot.

I think Beverley is so fucking over rated. His defense is all a result of his peskyness and over-exertion. I don't think he's actually a very smart defender. All-defensive 2nd team was an absolute joke. Plus he is shooting sub 40%.
76.

All of the ratings in this thread would put Beverley at a 78 but I already processed him at a 79. Since that's very close I'm going to leave it alone and move on to other ratings!

This thread needs to be closed, any and all new opinions of Bev need to be made in a new stock watch thread.
