THE DYNASTY 5IVE RUMOR MILL
Greetings, basketball sim league fans! Welcome to the Dynasty Five Rumor Mill! Insider information about your favorite teams; Shaken, not stirred!
Free Agency opened up this week, so let's start things off with free agency rumors!
FREE AGENCY RUMORS
Greg Oden, a highly valued but injury-prone Center, is already gaining a lot of teams inquiring for his services. Friends of Greg Oden say he’s already received messages from Toronto and Cleveland. Will he land anywhere else?
Jermaine O’Neal has also tweeted that he’s looking forward to a trip to Toronto. Whether this means he’s leaning to their offer (if they are going to offer) or if he’s just going on vacation, we don’t know for sure.
League insiders also tell us that the Miami Heat plans on offering at least part of their Mid-Level Exception on getting the services of Yugoslavian Center Nenad Krstic.
Moving on with Trade Rumors!

Sources in Memphis have told us that they are looking for a backup point guard. In conjunction with this, our sources in Los Angeles told us that the Clippers are looking to unload a point guard. The Dynasty Five Rumor Mill is trying to play matchmaker here, guys.
It has been no rumor that Indiana Pacers GM Larry Bird is looking to move Danny Granger. Sources close to the situation, however, now tell the D5 Rumor Mill that Granger could be on the move to Houston for Marcus Camby, Chase Budinger and “one or two” 1st Round Picks. Will it happen?
Speaking of the Rockets making huge offers, they are also reported to have made an offer to the Bucks’ Monta Ellis. Looks like the Rockets are looking to add some offensive firepower.
We have reported before that Celtics GM Ian Noble has said in a meeting that the Cs need an infusion of young talent. Now, we are receiving solid reports he is indeed considering putting Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen on the block. No official word from Ian thus far.
We also received updates for Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo, who has reportedly shown frustration with the new management. The people who whispered to us of that behavior have told us that Rondo hasn’t been giving his 100% in practice and in games. He is still apparently upset by the management, but no word as to why he is so upset. Something's fishy is going on over in Boston, I can feel it.

A Timberwolves rookie could be on the way out of Minnesota. One source close to the executives in the Timberwolves Front Office have informed us that the Wolves have received a strong offer for one of their rookies. The source did not cite exactly who, but this could be big.
Richard “Rip” Hamilton could be on the way out of Chicago. Rip has told us that he hasn’t heard anything from the Bulls top brass in a while now, and he’s getting worried that they are in the process of trading him away. A lot of rumors coming from Chicago the past couple of weeks, but could this be the real deal?
Another player who could be on the way out of his team is Michael Redd. The Suns have reportedly been given a good offer for Michael Redd over the past week, but couldn’t finalize a deal for him. Our sources tells us further that while Redd has stayed in Phoenix thus far, it doesn’t mean that the deal is dead for whoever is looking to add Redd to their roster.
We head on over to Portland, where the Dynasty Five Rumor Mill had received word that the Utah Jazz had reportedly sent a strong offer for Nicolas Batum.
And now, on to other news!
OTHER RUMORS
We have received unconfirmed reports from a couple of reliable sources in Memphis that current Grizzlies General Manager Samuel Jenkins has lost a vote of confidence from his peers. Reports add that they are opting instead for assistant GM Sam Presti to take over. In a press conference earlier this week (full story here), Sam Presti has continued to dodge questions about the rumors that the Memphis Front Office thinks that Jenkins has made terrible moves for their franchise. We can only assume what the future has in store for this controversial story.
Breaking news! Dennis Rodman has been suspended as the Charlotte Bobcats Head Coach for 30 days after showing up drunk to a meeting with Bobcats GM Lucas Lutkus and Bobcats Owner Michael Jordan! I can already hear the collective sighs of Bobcats fans everywhere. (Full story here.) It’s not a rumor, but this groundbreaking development has certainly taken the entire Dynasty Five League by storm.
